Description
Last collection of game enhancements that don't change your game version. Better graphics, weapons sounds, maps, font size ... Easy to instal!!
Ultima Ratio: Black Label is a deluxe version and will no longer have updates! Black Label allows you to play both offline and online on Steam. Read everything carefully before ask!
Installation
You should install in your Total War folder below (by default) or elsewhere. Look carefully at your Total War folder to install properly...
Example -> C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Empire Total War
* New Menu Background
Forget the original BLUE boring background menu!! Now you will see beautiful battle scenes!! I created 1 minute of high resolution video to illustrate!
* New 3D Loadings Screens including the Warpath Expansion (original creator)
Some people complain about delays in loading screens from 1.5 version. Now, Black Label brings new 3D loadingscreens created by Durango with additional 3D images created by me for the Warpath expansion.
* New Night Scenarios (original creator)
Now your army will walk through the night. All night scenes were edited!
Note: If you want to remove the night enviroments go to your Empire Total War folder, locate the "data" folder, open, and DELETE ONLY "ultima_night.pack" file!
* New Sound Package (original creator) and (original creator 2)
The sound of weapons in the Vanilla game clearly have been taken from toy pistols. Lol, but is true! Now your immersion in battles will be greater with real musket fire exploding in your ears! In the Black Label version you also have new sounds of swords, axes, bows and deaths combined with sounds of muskets, cannons and explosions seen in 1.5.
* Font Size + 2 (English Language ONLY)
Larger and better text to see in widescreen resolution. Some of these texts from Vanilla have been edited to fit!! Better than the game's original font size! Unfortunately, some names of Dutch generals could not be edited in order to suppress possible historical characters. The same happened with city names and all original information that may not fit in the text box.
* Map Radar (original creator)
Realistic world map.
* New Battle HUD (original creator)
Golden battle HUD.
* New Unit Skins
European Generals (original creator)
Expatriates Infantry (original creator)
American Rangers (original creator)
Guards (original creator) (original creator link 2)
I did not want to add skins, but I did only for two reasons:
1- the uniforms of European Generals are completely horrible in Vanilla.
2- The Expatriates Units wear the same clothes as regular Infantry Units, which causes confusion in the original version... the same happens with the Guard Units (a special regiment that protected the kings). The American Rangers were changed because the originals have clothes similar to the common Militia, which, again, causes confusion!
Now these specific units have more realism and identity. For more information acess the original version where more re-textures were created by Bavarian Grenadier and SwissHalberdier and feel free to use with this mod (100% tested compatibility).
* Napoleon Graphics for Campaigns and Battles (original creator)
All the improvements were taken from the subsequent game Napoleon, edited the buggy parts of the original Bran Mac's creation. The ADDON Ultima Effects with additional Fire and Smoke effects from battles, similar to Napoleon Total War, has also been added.
* Slave Trade (original creator)
A game that takes place in the 18th century should talk about the slave trade. Unfortunately, perhaps to avoid controversy, Empire omitted that detail, but creator Pike Stance build a way to add that to the game. I didn't touch anything he did originally, I just added it to the package as a bonus! For more information, acess his version.
* New Flags - correct flags from 18th century (original creator)
All edited flags, new ones added by me including some war flags that were corrupted in the original work from JFC.
* 38 Factions Enabled in Campaign Mode
Countless hours of gameplay added with 38 nations . All factions released in 1700 were tested without error. Pirates' faction has been cut from this Black Label version due to bugs, the same occurred with Thirteen Colonies, New Spain and Lousiania (all three are special missions from Great Britain, Spain and France, which seek to suppress revolutions, and are not real playable).

Very nice pics Milton! I will stick with 1.5 however ;) I don't fancy new backgrounds very much, they are nice but it's a matter of taste! :)
Don't worry, good too!! I'm glad you liked it! Black Label is the same 1.5 version wi th little more polishments (as you mentioned and an additional sound package). All in one place. It's 1.5 + addons + small polishments... Again, don't worry it's just a way to close the product and simplify everything in one place.
It's like playing Street Fighter II and Street Fighter II Deluxe XD. They are the same base but with few polishements. For me doesn't matter, I'm glad you liked 1.5!

Fala Maurício, por enquanto não. Dá muito trabalho traduzir todas as palavras do inglês para o português! E como todo Total War, tem muito texto pra ser traduzido.

Great, that's exactly it! you do not need to create a new folder, just install in your Total War folder and Ultima Ratio will make the necessary changes... I hope you enjoy Ultima Ratio!
Went back to this game today, how do install this and do i need the other 2 files no tracers and 4 seasons?
Just download Ultima Ratio: Black Label. The other two files are
completely optional as described in each one. They are not essential to the game.

Hi man, don't need because it is very simple as I said above! You just need to CHECK where your Total War Empire is installed. Ultima Ratio is placed in the same folder as your Total War Empire, that's all.
If it is installed correctly Ultima Ratio will appear.
Guest, after you place it in the correct folder you have to double click the mod file run the Ultima Ratio program before you start the game. This will give it permission to unpack itself in the rest of your game folder. After that you should be able to star up the game normally.
hi sorry but i'm new in this things.i install the mod follow thw instruction but when i start the game ,nothing change is possibile?
First check the folder where your Total War is installed, as described in the download. Ultima Ratio needs to be installed in the exactly same folder as your game. If it is placed elsewhere it will not work!

Ultima Ratio does not touch anything related to A.I., so these two submods mentioned by you are 100% compatible!
Because there are reskinned units, are there some unit packs that are incompatible?
Yeah, It isn't a major incompatibility, but it can cause duality of clothes or any other accessory. Exactly for that reason I left the game as original as possible just changing punctual aspects.
If you want to add skins, I suggest the work of the two authors I edited:
Twcenter.net! and Twcenter.net(AUM-EMP)-3-7-updated-14-3-18

eu tenho uma ideia, vc conseguiria fazer que os franceses quando eles sofrerem uma revolução , as unidades rebeldes tiverem pelo menos a roupas das guerras revolucionarias da franca? so falta isso pro impire ser perfeito,

Milton, I deleted the night pack as I don't want to fight night battles, but when I select evening, I don't really get evening, but I get afternoon in the battle :( I really love evening battles so this is a bummer for me, also sometimes the voices of soldiers seem like they're in slow motion? Or is it intentional? Another thing I hope you may fix in the future, is the horse fixed artillery sprites (the models u see when zoomed out) where the last horses seem like they're running even when they're stationary.

Right now I'm out of the game and it will take some time. Maybe months... But I will definitely change that.
About the sound, I only changed sounds of "deaths", "screams" and "gunfire" ... the rest remains original. Take a look at your sound configuration, see if without the MOD installed the game sound still brings flaws! But if not, don't worry, I'll look at the sound package more carefully in the future to identify what happened. It may be some screen lag,
which leaves a delay in sound. Take a look at the graphical configuration, it may be interesting to decrease from Ultra to High in some cases.
The problem of cavalry pixels (I think awful too), varies with each computer screen size, and I believe I can't solve. As Empire is an old game, It was never adapted to Widescreen mode.

No, unfortunately not. Ultima ratio is an alternative to Darthmod!
Hi can you still help? My PC says running this will put PC in risk. Im new here, so help is appreciated.
The antivirus identifies sometimes ".exe" installers as a "false/positive" because it isn't made for Microsoft or big companies, so then the antivirus doesn't know the source of the installer and sometimes blocks the installation! The same happens with me (and I created the installer by myself, LOL). In that case, you will need to disable the antivirus to start the installation.
ok im doing something wrong with the install because when i start the game i get the old blue title screen and not the new one the mod talked about if someone could give me a hand in what im doing wrong it would be a big help thanks in advance

Hello guys, have a little problem with ETW 1.5. Mod was successfully installed and playable- all was ok until 1724 year (48 turn). Game crashes to desktop without any error during AI turn.
Some more info (maybe can help): Game - v1.5.0.332.21992 8 DLC, Cracked;
Player Faction - Russia;
turn 48;
Crashes during United states turn (Britain is destroyed).
Maybe there is some kind of script which is broken and it is not concern to your mod, but I want admit that vanilla version doesn`t show such problems (but maybe this happens due to special circumstances above...)

Forgive me for the late reply, but I believe it is the game itself. I already had some corrupted files and this is quite common in Empire. The faction you were playing was Russia, so that reinforces it even more. The only change I made in scripts is almost boolean changes. What is "false", becomes "true" in non-playable nations.
Parabéns pela criação Milton, eu estava usando uns 8 mods separados pra conseguir uma experiência boa de Empire, mas hoje encontrei o seu que junta tudo, efeitos do Napoleon, sons etc, tudo que eu queria em um mod só, muito obrigado mesmo, única dúvida que tenho é se preciso por o ADDON Ultima environment e o de tracer também, ou só colocando o Black Label esses 2 já vem juntos?
Valeu mesmo cara! Não, infelizmente editar mods acaba nunca tendo um fim e essas "inovações" surgiram à parte do trabalho finalizado... Se você quiser um melhor gráfico de batalhas pode dar uma chance a esse pacote de Enviroments que é baseado na descoberta feita pelo Phantomtech4k com o mod Terrestria Orbem (nesse caso eu fiz inúmeras adaptações, incluindo novas texturas para fortes e otimizei os gráficos de batalhas navais, além da integração total com o Ultima Ratio)... Já o Tracer é opcional e só tornei disponível por conta de pedidos. No fundo, o Ultima Ratio Black Label já é bastante completo, esses adicionais ficam a teu critério! Boa diversão!
Fiz isso Milton, ficou maravilhoso mesmo, funciona tudo bem fluido e Empire fica finalmente jogável... Muito obrigado pela resposta e se cuida mano
