Good time of day. I'm pleased to introduce the new version of the UFO mod.
List of changes: Main:
- Fixed a bug that caused MANPADS to fire at tanks. Now MANPADS (Stinger, Grom, Strela, etc.) are aimed exclusively at aircraft. So there will no longer be situations in multiplayer when several individuals with Igla missiles harassed light armored vehicles. Additionally, standalone firing at enemy helicopters from RPGs has been implemented.
- Implemented the mechanics of hydro-pneumatic suspension - not quite full functionality, but some vehicles can lean forward and backward. The full list is below.
- Implemented the mechanics of FPV drones. This means that a serviceman with an FPV drone in his inventory has been added. You can pull it out from there or throw it like a grenade, and it spawns. After that, this drone can be directly controlled to target any enemy.
- The Dutch army will be reformatted into the armed forces of Benelux, which will include the armed forces of Belgium and Luxembourg.
- The unit list in the editor is being expanded. Now you won't need to search for the necessary equipment from other countries.
- Implemented replenishment of first aid kits and medical supplies from medical vehicles. Only the medications that were originally with the soldier are issued. For example, a foot soldier receives a first aid kit, while a medic receives morphine and a large bag.
- Implemented replenishment of engineering property, explosives, and mines from engineering vehicles. Only the means that were originally with the soldier are issued. For example, sandbags are issued to foot soldiers, while engineers receive barbed wire and hedgehogs, and miners receive corresponding mines.
- Implemented replenishment of hand grenades from supply trucks. Grenades are issued by default. For example, a soldier who has spent an F-1 grenade will not receive an RGN grenade, only an F-1. Similarly, if a soldier had RGD-5, smoke RGO, and anti-tank RKG-3 grenades by default, then only these grenades will be received in exchange for those spent.
- Dynamite for soldiers has been replaced with TNT charges and C4. Distribution was based on the principle that the USA, NATO, and their allies received C4, while others received TNT. TNT has less damage than C4, and it takes longer to arm, but it occupies 1x1 cells in the inventory (C4 occupies 1x2), and its throwing range is 4 meters longer.
- Work has been done with radar anti-aircraft systems. Now they can detect aircraft and shoot at them. Radar anti-aircraft systems have radars with different detection ranges and different viewing angles. For example, the 2S6 Tunguska has a circular radar scan, so it sees in 360 degrees, whereas the Buk-M1 must be turned towards the target.
- Added vehicle and artillery sound effects for several nations. The base sound for these units has also been reworked, and for some nations, it is expanded.
- Added random skin spawns for small arms.
- Fixed a bug where underbarrel fire was not working against infantry. Now some automatic grenade launchers and underbarrel launchers fire independently at the enemy.
- Added the country Argentina.
love it
