How To Start
- Copy the "mods" folder contained in the .zip file to your Turok 2 - Seeds of Evil directory. (Please remove any other mods .kpf files in your mods folder if you have any others)
- Start the game and select "* Play Co-Op Game *" from the main menu
- Create a new Lobby
- Set the Game Mode to "Raptor Fest"
- Set the Time Limit to "No Limit"
- Set the Frag Limit to "No Limit"
- Start the Game!
Important Notes
- Only change the map AFTER you see the message "Go To: [Map Name]" not before. If you cheat and warp wherever you want then you will not be in the correct location in the map. And read the map name carefully and warp to the right map. Blind Lair, Hive, and Lightship are all non linear unlike the first 3 levels.
- Open the console (with the ~ key) and type "call help" (no quotes) for a list of all console commands.
- Type "call dif0" to 4 to change the difficulty in the console (0 = Easy, 1 = Normal, 2 = Hard, 3 = Hardcore, 4 = Ultra Hardcore)
Known Issues
- After reaching a map exit, a message will be displayed "Go to: [Map Name]". As the host, when you see that change the map to that map and you will be placed at the correct location within that map. I'm currently waiting for devs to expose a change map function to script for MP in order to get this working automatically. Until then whoever the host is must manually change the map to the next one.
- The RidingGun in River of Souls 1 doesn't sync correctly with clients so there will be issues. I left them in the map regardless.
Thanks for the update. It's a really fantastic experience to play through the campaign with friends. :)
Just one more question. Would it be possible to make the campaign cutscenes work in Co-op?
Glad you like it. The singleplayer cinematics don't work in multiplayer. I'd have to make my own and redo all the cutscenes. Also I don't like the thought of all players on the map suddenly entering a cutscene because 1 player triggered it somewhere on the map. Perhaps in the far future I'll do it for opening level cutscenes, but it's so low priority compared to everything else I still have to do that I'm just going to say no.
Thanks for the answer. It's no deal-breaker at all to have no cutscenes in Co-op. The mod still is amazing and a must-play for every Turok 2 fan. It was just a brain fart after I played with friends last time because both where like "it would be cool if we could see the campaign cutscenes".
Im getting an error where it says BP:playermissing
The best Turok 2 mod period, thanks berzerk
If i play splitscreen, can u tell me how to config the player 2 inputs?
this is a quick note to the dev of this mod.
if you freshly install Turok 2 on Steam. and then install the newest version of this mod 1.0.4. you get an error saying "missing map start here!"
to fix this, download the previous version and install it into the same place (then run the game and load the map "new game") then close once your in the lobby, then delete the .kpf file in the old one, then install the newest one.
that will fix the "missing map "new game, start here!" issue.
That error message is a bug in the game and has nothing to do with my mod. All you need to do to fix it is on the multiplayer map selection menu click the right arrow to select "Port of Adia 1" and then click the left arrow to go back to "New Game - Start Here!" then click start the game and it should work fine now.
Hi man,
Firstly, thanks for the time you spend doing this mod, its great.
Now, I have a problem, I just installed Turok remastered, with the last patch. It works well on its own.
Then I add your folder "mods" to the folder of the game. Launch it. And it says that: kexscriptcomponent:: prepare class:: turok action object not found.
I'd like to play this mod, so please if you could help me with this issue..
Thanks.
So that means there was an error when the game was trying to compile the scripts. Which usually means 2 things. You probably have other mods, and/or you have an old version of the game. You can't have other mods that overwrite files in this coop mod or it won't work.

Hi, Its possible to run the T2CoopServer.exe in auto mode? like a command -start or something like that? I dont find information about.
Hello, would it be possible to have the co-op options only without any of the other additions like the changed graphics, weapons, sound effects, etc? Thanks.
