I don't even know if its possible, and I'm using OP spells as well xD, it's an absurd challenge but I have gotten to Terra with vanilla only, takes hours to beat a map

Hi, I did test the mod and I were able to progress past the first area, what happened is that at the start of the game it wasn't designed for being in constant combat, so if you get to level 4 or above before the carpet guy talks to you, you get softlocked, this is the only instance the game locks progress related to getting to a level, I thought I put a warning about this but it seems I completely forgot lol. Basically, try to get through the first level as fast as possible without farming levels to not get softlocked by the early level check. But since you did get softlocked I am modding the script that checks for the level to make it impossible to get softlocked and putting that as an update to the 10x.

Update, now its impossible to get softlocked anymore due to overleveling early as I have removed the condition that caused the softlocked, meaning despite what the game tells you in the objective, all you have to do in the first mission is to kill the lairs and monsters, the level doesn't matter anymore. You are also guaranteed the 1000 exp points on completion of this objective.

It doesn't work with existend saves and it's not possible to make it out of the first map with the blue dragon. Don't know if it is a bug or if his kill rate is just too low.

it should be doable in theory but since enemies do respawn so fast and so many it can be excruciatingly hard to fully clear an area if you don't plop a city really quickly and keep it alive, which can be a nightmare, its entirely possible that this mod is impossible to finish the game with as it is, a friend is cooking a spellpack mod for this game that contains really powerful spells and even with those the game is really damn hard (I have a WIP version of his mod).

Wonderful mod, really enjoyed the game with it, though it keeps crashing in Ferra when I try to upgrade the town past level 3..
Tried killing civilians but its all to naught.

Would it be possible to create a bit of less extreme x10 to maybe x5 instead? At diff 10 its *almost* impossible, I wonder what the end game mobs would do to the player. Also is it possible to remove the particle effect from the Star of Dispair on the Necromancer since that particle effect in large numbers lags the game something fierce ontop of the x10 anyway.

Thanks you for the kind words, yea I was thinking on doing a less extreme version of the mod, I get very few crashes and is probably due to my pc being really powerful, the engine scales weirdly on new hardware, it barely uses anything from it but it does use more than in older hardware.

I can answer though on endgame enemies, they make the game turn into a bullet hell that makes touhou blush lol, so many projectiles that go over the engine limit so they stop being visible and you start to die to invisible stuff XD.

Ok so since you and others asked, I made a 5x version in hopes is more doable to complete the game with it. I hope you like it :)
