virustotal shows several vendor results on both the version downloaded feb 28 and jul 8 - example: plugy.dll is 56kb larger than it is supposed to be. was enjoying the mod

More likely than not it's just a difference in file versions. PlugY was worked on over many years after all.
PlugY.dll Version 5.0.6.0 has a file size of 236KB and a SHA256 of 420a83669298785e6ac7d8685a48363cc3e2e9b021650f6651f21abb3fae84e1
PlugY.dll Version 10.0.0.0 on the other hand has a file size of 248KB and a SHA256 of c736e92a78716145c9f0976a7038563bd07fadf633d9ec409f5bfba6586ede63
No reason to tihs your pants over this. :P

14.03 from the official site is 56kb smaller than this mods 14.03 and virustotal shows the official one as clean

Kudos to you! Enjoy it to the bits. However, how to fix this "unhandled exception" error? Its keep popping up when I open stash. Help me.
What plugy version you are using?
Try this fix:
Open plugy.ini in the mod folder and find this line "ActiveBigStash=1" change it to 0 and try again.
New update/ It fixed. I just copied the Plugy file your gave in the mod and replaced the one in Era of Destruction file.

Thank you for the mod, mate. eReally enjoying it so far. It just Assasin Traps doesnt takes effect on equipment abilities.For example, a Katar got “15 mana each kills” but when I killed with Traps it doesnt take effect. Is Traps a different entity entirely?
A trap! Yes, trap is a summoning skill just like valkyrie or golem, not a casting skill. So it won't receive any effects or buffs from your equipment. Example: mana each skill or ctc skill when kill, something like that. So when an enemy get killed by a trap, it means your monster, your pet kill it, not you kill it and you won't receive any mana from that act. I think that is Blizzard logic.

Are there more options on how to deal with c00000005 error besides the method described in a notepad file? Because it don't work since v1.2
Try to get a clear d2 game, install the mod and try again, bro. Mine runs well now after i setup my windows again. I got a lot of virus in my pc and it was really sick. Make sure you already intalled all c++ versions in your pc.
