Call of Duty 4 Survival Mode has now a mod that brings a feeling much closer to MW3 with plenty of custom NPC models, HUD elements and other various sounds and textures to improve the overall looks and feels of the quality. Minor code fixes are done as well, and a fully functional Menu is added too with MORE MAPS COMING SOON!!!

Call of Duty 4: Survival Mode MW3 Mod Version is a Custom Mission modification
for COD4 that aims on bringing Modern Warfare 3 Survival Mode mechanics to Call of Duty 4.
This version of the mode has additional custom assets from the first basic one which was
limited to cod4 only assets besides the custom mini map, and now a ton of MW3 assets are added
to make the whole survival experience much closer to MW3! Source files for the MW3 Mod assets
will be probably ready for upload a few days after this upload on the moddb page of the mode.
If there are problems with the custom asset collection the upload will either take longer
or in the worst case scenario, not take place at all.

INSTALLATION:

1) Copy mods, zone, main, survival_mw3.cmd files that came with this download,
and paste them in your COD4 folder.
2) The file survival_mw3.cmd MUST be in the COD4 folder where iw3sp.exe is located.
You can make a shortcut of it if you like.
3) Run survival_mw3.cmd
4) There's a custom menu that allows you to select maps and play.
5) Enjoy!

GAMEPLAY NOTES:

I did all I could to provide a balanced enough experience. Some users may find it difficult.
Others may find it easier. The whole point is to mimic/copy the way MW3 Survival gameplay functions.
And I believe I got really close with it.
Wave System:
The wave system works in a satisfying way
and every 5 waves or so one heavy wave takes place where either juggernauts, hind attach helis, or both
almost like mw3. Nearly every 5 waves the regular enemy tier is also increased up until wave 25 where
tier 5 enemies that look like light juggernauts come and they are the finaly and most difficult regular enemy
of the mode. Juggernauts have 3 variations, the stronger of which come after the early heavy waves.
These variations are the Heavy Juggernaut and the "Shield" Juggernaut. Of course a properly functional
shield system for cod4 is nearly impossible so I just made him crouch and then stand up similar to mw3 shield jugg.
Once you reach Wave 25 a fake achivement will pop up telling you that you basically beat the mode.
That is because wave 25 is considered the hardest once and afterwards every 5 waves the cycle is repeated.
So it gets repetitive.
Stores:
The stores are made in a way to resemble MW3. Three armory stores each one being available after every one wave.
Weapon armory has most of the Singleplayer Weapons of COD4 that I could implement.
Unfortunately porting every single gun from mw3 to cod4 is not an easy task and I am not up to it.
I will not be making weapon ports for this mode at this current stage. All COD4 weapons are put as they are in the game.
No modifications on them is done whatsoever. Any bugs or glitches they show are not my fault.
The good thing is you can buy any weapon you want from the weapon armory.
Attachments are not an easy story either. It's extremely hard to implement a proper system
however most of them are available there already.
Equipment armory has most of the equipment and its made to look like the one in mw3.
Sentry guns aren't a thing in COD4 and making them is not an easy story either.
Other than that, the rest are more or less like mw3.
Air support armory is more limited because predator missile system is challenging to make
so i replaced it with an airstrike call system. AC130 airstrike call is implemented as well.
The previous no-mod version had no viewmodel for the smoke. This one has viewmodel animations
and an actual HUD icon for it. Perks are in limited numbers because cod4 perks dont work on SP unfortunately.
And I tired to simulate some of them. Only the ones that worked properly are implemented.
Task Force and Riot Team are replaced with Task Force 141 team and MW3 Sas npc model team.
As said, riot shields are't possible so they're just a little stronger that the Task Force.
Ending:
Finally, there's an ending trigger in each level.
Nothing really special happens. It's just there for someone who collected 100k points
and want to end the game in a cool way.
Once you activate it, the end screen and victory music plays.
Similar to the death end screen only with music.

KNOWN BUGS:

> It is likely that the Red Airstrike Smoke would pop out normal smoke as well. Very low possibilities but likely.
> It is also likely that some NPCs can be seen spawning.
> The Jet Airstrike Marker can be called off map even on the skybox. (Try calling it on a stopped enemy attack helicopter)
> The all health values stay the same after wave 20.
> Player can instantly die if he cook a grenade for too long even if he has last stand.
> The damage system isn't roughly tested but it seems to work fine.
Every weapon has different stats so the damage testing may differ
form user to user and it may not feel like MW3.
> Shotgun enemies use a different set of animations which sometimes can make the NPC model stretch horizontally and look very odd.
That's a COD4 related bug. Not mine. Just so you know in case you come across it.

like not accurate or not realistic reflective surfaces on NPCs and so on.

but i would love to see the m4's model change into the mw3 version
Weapon ports are extremely complicated to do and making all of them would not only take a lot of time and effort from my part that I do not have, it would also overload the memory of the game due to the limited nature of COD4. There can be a few of them but i avoided it due to the difficulty of the procedure. I do however plan to do weapon ports for Rooftops 2 where things are lighter.

The problem is that the editor for COD 4 is very limited. If you do everything you want, an overload will occur due to which the mod will not work

I need help please. After I install the mod, I opened COD4 multiplayer and head to Mod and in Survival option. Everything seems to load well, but when the survival menu loaded, It wont let me go to survival maps. It just makes the beeping selection sound and it does not open inside he survival maps. I was thinking maybe there is something else that I need to download. I downloaded the playable files, lookout map, vortex map, shipment map and U-turn map but it still gives me the problem. Can someone please help me!!

Why on earth did you open a singleplayer mod in multiplayer? The instructions are crystal clear. There's a bat file that launches the mod for you. You don't have to open multiplayer it doesn't work with MP. It's a SINGLEPLAYER mod. And please stop commenting with Guest, make a proper account so you can get notified from my reply.
I am having a problem loading the game after opening the survival mod, I am not able to lead any of the maps at all... all of 5 of the maps don't work even after installing in the correct order
idk why my controller doesn't work with the survival mod :(, it works for regular cod 4
