100% crash free! (Hopefully) This SHOULD work for everyone.
This version removes the commands that change player models, as well as the addon meshes from other commands, for those who are having problems with them. I know this is probably not the solution most of you wanted, but at least you can now play as the 212th and the 327th. I will try to find a better solution as soon as I can.

Hmm... most curious. Can you give me some more details?
I'm using battlefront evolved, everytime I go to change skins it crashes.
212th still crashes when running with battlefront evolved, the others seem to work just fine though

I've re-uploaded this with a fixed 212th and 327th, both of which have been tested and proven to work with with Battlefront Evolved.

You probably have the wrong version of the v1.3 patch. There's a link for the correct version in the news section. This mod is only compatible with that version.

Can you please show me an image of where you installed it? I'm not saying you didn't put it in the right place necessarily, I just want to make sure before investigating further. I want to help you, I have nothing to gain by making a mod that doesn't work. It's not like i'm selling it for money.

Try it without evolved. I've heard many people have problems with evolved.

All the skins don't work. The only skin that does work when you change is the phase 1 troopers for the clones. It also crashes on marines, Phase one clone snow trooper, and Phase 1.5 troopers.
Do you have a side mod installed?
If you have a side mod installed, you should try verifying the integrity of your game cache through steam.
That's usually what I do when I need to uninstall a mod in order to get another to work. I'm actually trying this right now seeing as I've already had mods installed and this isn't working.

Ya my game is still crashing
Try it with the un-modded sides.
Still getting a lot of crashes. Sometimes clicking on the skin title is just enough to make the whole game crash. Other times, just as I selected the skin, I get back to the class select area and the game... crashes.
Even when I can successfully select a skin and play, the game might crash within 30 seconds. The times i can play with a different skin without getting crashes is about 5% of times.

I'm playing with the 1.3 version, with no other mods installed.
EDIT: the game crashes EVERY SINGLE TIME when i can successfully select the skin and play.
Just clicking on the skin title causes immediate crash. I removed all other mods except 1.3 version. Attempted multiple times.
Have you ensured that the SkinChanger folder is in the right place?

Hey I'm just curious if you will fix the phase 1.5 clone troopers skirts they are stiff and a bit buggy and the jet troopers jet pack will glitch out when you fly it will disappear but other than that this mod is amazing. (I still love it even if these small things can't be fixed.)
I am aware of both of these issues. The skirts are stiff because those models were made for Battlefront 1, which cannot handle Battlefront 2's cloth system. The jetpacks are glitchy because they are addons and not actually part of the models. I'll correct both problems when i find the time.

I don't know. A lot of people have that problem. Yet for some strange reason I don't. Are you using any kind of side replacement mod? And if so, which one?
Only have the fake console installed and your mod.

same here too. also experience it with the Galactic marines but only when I try to select the republic. With the Phase 1 snowtroopers and the phase 1.5 troopers crashes immediately...

Same guest as before. Neither versions are working for me. They both give me the Fake Console option, but nothing in the Fake Console lets me change skins.
Was the file you downloaded an .exe? I think you may have downloaded the patch without the mod. The mod itself does not add the fake console. That's what the patch is for.
