This pre-1.2 patch resolves many performance and crashing issues in GC. Please read the included readme.

I actually prefer NOT knowing when it's released. Because if I know, then it will seem like it takes longer for that day to come. And if it's not released by then because of a delay, everyone begins to whine and complain.
wait...is this a patch to make the game not so horribly laggy even if you have a good pc that can easily run it? Thats the only reason i didn't play it to much. And im happy to hear about the balance issues being fixed. it was no fun play republic as cis always killed them :D
True, but this means you have a weak mind. I play the Republic all the time. I alwasy win against Hard CIS. It is startegy bro. Not gun all of you forces in at once. ;)
i love thi mod, the explosions, the sound the ships make when they explode! lol, kidding. the gameplay is awesome. and i hope the patch fixxed the crashing. i forgot to save my games, and 5 hour GC was deleted >.<
i think the reason why it lags so much is because the ai is either, as republic, making waaaaaaay too many clone units ( since theyre small and the ai seems to overproduce)
or too many B1 battle droids as CIS. The lag shud be solved by making the ai build less, or by taking out the small clone units and making the units bigger.
the game is working perfectly fine but i have a problem in skirmish space battle, the confederacy AI doesnt do anything. normally it do upgrades and attack you and stuff. but in this mod the AI is not doing anything. anyone can help will be very much appreciated.

Is it just me or do I have no A.I. in my download? And GC crashes for me still it says "Exeption! Please read Exeption.txt for more detail"??? BTW I play this on steam if that helps solve my problem.
And This patch doesn't fix the download at all. It fixes GC but when I downloaded the game (republic at war) it came with no A.I. folder???
Same problem here, the patch didn't fix the ai. I've installed the mod like it was said in the instructionbut there was no ai from the beginning! Can someone from staff help?
The CIS is way to aggressive. I spend time trying to build my economy and in week 6 they are already on tech level 5 with capital ships. And thats only on easy!!!!! And their carriers have waaaaay too many star fighters and bombers the Republic gets like none
So I downloaded and installed this, but still it sometimes takes SECONDS for things to work ingame. Sounds like not much, but having to hold the move command cursor over a planet for 20 seconds waiting for the engine to catch up makes the game un-playable.

Does this affect already saved games?
You SHOULD be able to load up a previous save with no issues; although we recommend starting a fresh campaign.
yeah, doesn't work. Loaded up a save file and was extremely slow, but when I started a new game, it worked fine. Damn, I made so much progress!

This Resolve Multiplayer GC too ?
Only fixed it slightly. I still get a lot of lag, but it's not crashing or freezing for a whole minute.

i tryed with this patch to run star wars republic at war galactic conquest and its still not working

if the exception file is crazy long that means SWFOC ran out of dedicated memory, this can be fixed by restarting the game.
