This mod removes the explicit sexual assault scenes by the guards and the harvestmen, but leaves in the rest of the nudity and sexual content.
This is the first release of my mod to remove the graphic sexual assault from the game, specifically removing the guard scene and the harvestman scene. Be warned, this does not remove all sexual assault, just the graphic depictions on-screen.
As stated on the main mod page, this is not my work, it is a trimmed down version of the much more expansive F&H Censored mod by NoCommentary. You can go find his youtube channel here: Youtube.com
To install, just unzip and drop the www folder in your main game folder, overwriting as necessary. The path should be something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fear & Hunger
And what about those Night Lurches? They also rape your character if you're not careful, I've heard.
And then there's Francóis, too, who also rapes.
Other than that, this mod is very useful since I know there's real-life rape victims and survivors that will get offended and upset by these traumatizing scenes. And you KNOW how serious rape is.
This should remove the Night Lurch's jump animation, as well as the Francois scene itself.
It doesn't work. Night Lurch still does it's thing.
The original Censorship mod didn't stop the Night Lurch either.
I checked the files of the mod, it seems there are indeed modifications made to the Harvestmen and Prison Guard.
However, there are no modifications made to the Night Lurch or Francois, which would explain why the Night Lurch scene still plays. It's likely that the Francois scene will also still play.
Leaving the mod in this state would give survivors a false sense of security, believing this mod is protecting them, which would make being surprised by these scenes much worse for them than if they hadn't used the mod at all.
Forgive me, it has been over a year since I made this, and I thought I fixed them somehow. For Francois, I will take another pass at this and see if I can remove that scene, I seem to recall that the night lurch jump was hardcoded, so I'll see what I can do.
Hey buddy, I could use your help. I changed out the guts of the Francois fight, so now no matter what, you'll never lose the coin toss when he grabs you, bypassing his sexual assault scene. I don't have a save near there to test against, could you test this out and let me know if you're still seeing that scene play?
