Since v2.7 is taking too long, test version of installer is published.
These are v2.6 files without DLC modifications.
Feel free to test. If you find bugs, report them in comments!
Just a screenshot from my testing experiments. Bunch of debug commands turned on. Mod have nothing to do with this. I needed picture for this download so this testing image kinda fits the beta release.
When using the installer it comes up with an application error and gives me the choice to quit or continue, but when I choose continue, the progress bar gets half way then stops. Any idea what I should do?
Same thing happens to me. After selecting the Mass Effect 3 folder (which is not on my C: drive btw) it says it could not locate the Mass effect folder. Even though it asks to locate the 'Mass Effect 3' folder will changing the name to just 'Mass effect' fix the problem??
Machiavelli, please provide more info. When does it happen, what does it say, what steps exactly did you take when it happened, preferably so I can re-create it.
jebkiller, You need to select your root ME3 folder. It doesn't matter what is the folders name, it just matters that it's the correct folder in which the game is installed, i.e. needs to contain the Binaries folder etc. The actual code will take the folder you point it too, and check wether a file exists in path of selectedFolder\Binaries\MassEffect3.exe. Otherwise your AV might not let the installer do anything.
Like always I reccomend turning off your anti-virus software and real-time protections because you may get false positives, because of third-party patching software being used in the installation process.
Here is the detail. Had to put random spaces in to paste it.

This means you have not given the program sufficient permission to access your files.
At this point, the program writes out a small EXE file to the disk from it's inner repository, which is tasked with binary comparison and patching of some files. It is ran with different arguments and other files from installer's repository, to patch the needed files.
Obviously your system believes it's doing something wrong and blocks it's access.
Run as admin, disable antivirus and resident protection if you have any. My ESET Security software didn't give me any trouble, as well as ZoneAlarm.
Same problem WRT the installing requiring elevation, but I face getting into hot water when it comes to disabling things like antivirus. Don't suppose there's any chance of doing it manually?
There is any way to add on the spectre store the Collector SMG and the Collector Sniper Rifle?
I have installed the cracked DLC Retaliation but i still can not add it on the spectre store.
for some reason once ive selected the folder its tells u too for mass effect folder is says the biogame.DEU file is missing but i can only find biogame.INT why is it trying to edit the german version instead of english

Seems very cool, but when I go to mars, the screen is black. I can hear shooting, but no screen, no menu, just black. I tried windowed mode and going back to a previous save. PRevious save helped, but as soon as Mars loads, the game fails.
I reloaded my first mission... I htink it was because I loaded the squad select screen too early (on the first mission wth anderson). Maybe I'll try again after I have the first chance to select squad normally.
HEY! I have a solution to the missing "biogame.DEU" file! simply go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect 3\BIOGame\ CookedPCConsole, find "BIOGame_INT.tlk", copy it about 5 times and rename the copies;
"BIOGame_POL.tlk"
"BIOGame_ESN.tlk"
"BIOGame_DEU.tlk"
"BIOGame_FRA.tlk"
"BIOGame_ITA.tlk"
and "BIOGame_RUS.tlk" if its not there. so practically copy "BIOGame_INT.tlk" and rename the copy to whatever MOAM wants you to.
Whats that?
Just a screenshot from my testing experiments. Bunch of debug commands turned on. Mod have nothing to do with this. I needed picture for this download so this testing image kinda fits the beta release.
What are the exact gameplay tweaks in the lite version?
Armor&Outfits
Stores
Guns
Gameplay (nothing major)
Character Creation
Graphic Changes

I'm getting some kind of unhandled exception during the install. Won't let me paste the error.
Trying to install realistic one.
Same here, got all the .net frameworks, but it just crashes about halfway through the install.
Seems to be related to elevated rights.

Installer starts and I get to installing the realistic combat.
Preparing base...Ok
Modifying TLK...
Error happens there. Progress bar is half way full, like the guest posted too.
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. Click continue to ignore, quit to close basically. Requested operation requires elevation.
Click continue and it jus sits there doing nothing.
Clicking details gives me a bunch of system info.
