how do you play this on beyond the sword?
Move the Middle earth folder to :
Steam: Steam/steamapps/common/Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword/Beyond the Sword/Mods/"mod folder"
Non-steam: Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword/Beyond the Sword/Mods/"mod folder"

Once in game, select from the Main Menu "Advanced" then "Load a Mod" and then choose "Middle earth"
or you can create a direct shortcut for the Mod, but it's more complicated... you have to google it
