says its been downloaded twice already. its 5:30pm here and I've got the night off....... so excite but I'll be asleep when it drops.
What are the requirements? any specific version needed?

I need a little more help, I installed the patch but it won't load any characters the game just crashes. All my saved characters have been converted to the MXL. Any advice? thank you!
Original D2 characters and characters from older MXL versions are not compatible with the new 2017 version.
I run plugy 10 and I keep getting access violation c0000005 as an error when I try to save and exit game. Only I have seen so far is trying to save
Is there any chance of a character upgrade utility?
It's rather annoying to have a medium-high level character and have to start from scratch.
(The "convert" option doesn't do anything for me...)

...I'll be honest, I'm not getting what you mean. If you're asking: "is it permitted to use widescreen (MultiRes tool) for multiplayer?" the answer is no.
Will the custom font tool still work? The one on the tools page from the Median website.
Since it has been stated that D2SE and PlugY will still work, it's not far fetched to think that the custom font tool still works too

After 3 years of Median break i found 3 days ago BY ACCIDENT that new patch is on the way lol, just downloading it and gonna burn my time playing it again, looks godly from the trailer!

-Make sure .dll files are in DiabloII folder and not blocked by windows and/or your antivirus.
-Run the game as administrator.
If you're using D2SE and/or PlugY:
-Make sure you're using PlugY 10.00
-Make sure PlugY.ini has this set in its .ini file: DllToLoad=MXL.dll
If you're using the launcher:
-Uninstall any previous median version or launcher, delete patch_d2.mpq in your d2 folder.
-Get the new launcher: Get.median-xl.com (as of now is version 0.2.7.0).
-Install and update.
If you crash you probably didn't install the new launcher and are using the old one (MXL_Setup_v0.2.6.0), and/or didn't delete patch_d2.mpq.
getting an unhandled exception 0005 for when i start a new game with a character.

OK. i also manually uninstalled patch_d2.mpq and re acquired it through the loader. Now it seems to work! Thank you!

I'm not sure why D2SE Launcher start regular D2 when i select Median XL and click on Start Plugin...Any help please?
