In this mod, the Allies are a unified army stuck in pleasant bluish green, which I got from ThaneWulfgharn on Moddb and is based on a Greek armour camo. The Soviets have the same tan colour as in my Uniform Version.
The Soviet invasion has made the Europeans more unified than ever before. Even the arch enemies Germany and France are forced by circumstance to recognise the plain necessity of cooperation. The realisation has set in that, seperately, the peoples of Europe are picked off one by one by the Soviet onslaught; it is only through a common effort by the peoples of Europe that their homelands can be kept safe from the death and terror of war. This is why the general staffs of the European powers have come together in Luxembourg to found a common Allied defence force, forging a sword powerful enough to slay the red beast.
You, commander, have been selected to join the upper echelons of this European army, for which you shall receive your first mission from the Allied high command. Good luck, to you and to Europe.
This was my (possibly a bit cheesy) backstory to the fact that all Allied units wear the same uniforms and have the same colour tanks, where my previous mods acted from the assumption that the German military would be particularly important on the Allied side in this timeline (though of course you can simply ignore my vague backstories). In this mod, the Allies are a unified army stuck in pleasant bluish green, which I got from ThaneWulfgharn on Moddb and is based on a Greek armour camo. This mod doesn't use a dll file, meaning it should be compatible with any mod that doesn't change CNCRATEAMCOLORS.XML or the art files of the Soviet Barracks.
My latest update changes the following:
- The Allied Barracks now has their Allied blue flag;
- All secondary campaign factions (Germany, Turkey, England, France and Ukraine) are now a markedly lighter shade of their main faction colour; except for Spain, so the faction colour in the ant missions is kept the same;
- Not a change, but included as additional files are variants of the Soviet Forward Command Post: two variants with natural coloured hammers and sickles, one gold and one red. You can manually change this in: C:\Users\~YOURNAME~\Documents\CnCRemastered \Mods\Red_Alert\JRARFCAE\DATA\ART\TEXTURES\SRGB\RED_ALERT\STRUCTURES.
