I've installed it right but the mod keeps crashing due to missing scripts. I've replaced half a dozen before losing my patience.
Would you kindly reupload a version that doesn't require so much busy-work?
Make sure Source 2013 Single Player is installed AND you have the mod in your SourceMods directory. It will not work any other way.
I tested this with the regular version of SDK 2013 Singleplayer. I'm not sure if having the beta version installed matters but it shouldn't.

i have source 2013 single player freshly installed, i've tried both with and without the beta and it doesn't work
You do realise you need to put the ith folder in the sourcemods?
Intellectual Techno Hell and ith are two different things. ith is inside the folder with the readfile, you need to extract just the ith file

No, you have to install the Intellectual Techno Hell Standalone folder into the sourcemods folder. It won't work properly otherwise

you need beta update on sdk in steam
