Godherja: The Dying World is a total fantasy conversion mod that is set in an original dark fantasy world poised on the edge of the end times. After killing their god in ancient times, humanity has once again shaken the fabrics of reality through the use of world-shattering magics. The world is now dying, and as tribes migrate to the last lands of man and ancient empires crumble, reality itself hangs in the balance. Will you save the world, or end it?
Play in dozens of unique cultures, religions, or as hundreds of interesting characters while interacting with tons of new gameplay features such as adventuring or magic. Godherja supplies the players with a deep and fleshed out setting with a compelling narrative of its own, along with an expanded gameplay sandbox that all Crusader Kings III will be sure to enjoy.

Future Features:
As this is a 0.1 release, many things did not make it in or are planned for future content. For a list of what you can expect in the upcoming patches towards 0.2:
- Expanded artifact selection and code cleanup to make them function better
- Magic fixup and expansion, the current magic system is not quite finished, and it and the GUI both have a lot of work ahead. However I did not want to stall the release just for it, nor did I want to remove the feature from the game, so consider the current version an early WIP and preview of what's to come with some basic functionality. Upcoming magic content will make the system more enjoyable and increase the spell and magic generation selection.
- More story and decision events, including cut content for current story characters and several new ones.
And for what you can expect in the future, whether at patch 0.2 or onward:
- More unique models, including Battlemagi, cultural armors, liches and skeletons, and more
- Rework current religious tenets to have more unique features
- Story decisions and events for Harthah ibn Sarradon, Aeschraes, Cormag Fenrus, the Marcher pretenders, Heraklios, and more
- Playable holy orders with unique mechanics and story decisions and events for the Agionist Orders
- Playable magocracies with unique mechanics and story decisions and events for the remnants of the Mayikprolollan
- Playable republics with unique mechanics and story decisions for the various republics of the world, along with unique mechanics for the Konijkmener
- Expanded Lifepath system for the Marchers allowing you to choose your Wayfather, train in your Way and strive to become a Waysaint, and attempt to encourage, pressure or force your children down certain Paths
- New bookmarks, pushing a thousand+ years into the past or into the near future
- The ability to postpone the end of the world through great effort
