First Strike v1.4 Full Installer file

My Nod32 AV said it was a WIN32/Statik Application inside it ...probally false alarm but what should I do?

You guys really need to use some compression on these files. 1.12GB is just too much.

ohh and the file on fileshack has errors. My Computer cant reconize the file so i cant install it instead it leads me to find a program.

does this mod have single player capabilities

What version of BF2142 does this use?

How do i install the .exe file? How do i get the mod to work?

Um when i join a server it crash's and i mean any server

is there any other mirrors cuz when i got to filefront it will say that it could not open the web page operation aborted. and they say you have complete controll over a computer hunph looks more like it controlls you.

oh i found another mirror my bad lol sorry for spam. You see people thats a prime example of america now. the people in the gorverment will make a mistake BUT will not fix it like i did and i bet thats exactly y we're goin down hill. oh also becuase people dont know how to do thing either.

I dont understand this, i play the game but when i join a server or start my own, it crashes as it finished loading also, when i update all the files say (Cannot Extract) and (File May Be Corrupt)

all i get when i try to go into an online server is a pop up that says :Text-custom map and the join button says: Button_maplink and takes me to this site and out of the game h t t p://bfeditor.org/index.php?lang=English&sec=maps&act=vmap&game=bf2142&map=Suez_Canal

singleplayer goes into the map and just sits there with nothing on the screen but the planet, when you hit esc you can then turn around but it takes you back to the menu of course

Hello, Newbie on the block! Anyways, I'm having hell with this mod!

After finally installing and patching the main game, and this mod, I've run into yet another road block.

When I start this mod, it tells me to insert the CD.

Now I know what you're thinking - "Damn Noobs!"

I've been torrenting games for almost a year now, and I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing when it comes to that.

I've got a NO-CD crack for the main game, and the main game works fine. But this mod won't work from it.

I would very much like to play this mod today.

So what I've been looking around for is a NO-CD file for this mod itself so that way it won't scan for the disk.

I've come up with sites that look fake, or a scam.

I've seen a forum in which some guy said he found one, but you have to redownload the entire mod as well. I already went through the pain of downloading this thing and isnstalling it. All I need is a seperate NO-CD .exe file to run this thing without a CD.

The only other option I have is to Retorrent the main game and burn it onto one of my disks and see if that works. I don't know if that will work but if it does, the type of DVDs I have are 8.5 GB Dual Layer DVD+R.

I hope someone responds to this......

I know this is probably late, and you've already made your mind about this, but I'm here to tell you that YES, it will work on your computer.

My computer system is this:

736 MB of RAM
1.81 GHz
GeForce 6100

And it works near perfect! (Surprisingly!)

Just turn everything down Graphics-wise and you'll be fine.

But I must warn you, if you plan on Torrenting this game without the CD, this mod will not work even if you have a NO-CD patch/crack/file for the main game.

Plus, if you want to play online with a torrented version, you can't because The Company that made this game has blacklisted some of the Serial Numbers that have been reused.

So if you can, buy it. That will make your life easier.

Plus (again) it is a multiplayer based game and the singleplayer mode is VERY limited.

Other than those things, if you want to torrent it, head on over to a site that I use called Btjunkie and get started and have fun.

OMG!!!! 338 HOURS T_T

Single player not working. Other mods like extended singleplayer work ok. Patched to v1.5 bf2142 (deluxe version) Plays for a while then crashes. Strange but heaps of r2d2s everywhere.

The sp is build 1.4 in the custom games list but for some reason the multiplayer first strike is shown as v1.2. The file for the MP is definitely labelled full installer for 1.4. Wondering if the recent hacking problem has caused a file mix up.

Took me 5mins to dload :D
Anyways, How do I create a shortcut to the mod. I am running the game with 1920x1080, and the mod tries to do that too. But since I havn't added an extra line in the FS shortcut directory, It crashes. I can play it, but i have to change the resolution every time i want to play FS. So, like I said, I have to create a desktop shortcut, to launch FS.
