v1.75 of my Fear and Hunger English translation fix. This mod fixes many typos and grammar errors in the original script. It also contains a few minor bug fixes to prevent crashes.
More typo fixes, even better grammar! Completely replaces previous versions. Big thanks to Nemesis for his game-crashing bug fixes, as detailed in his guide: Steamcommunity.com
To install, just unzip the mod folder and move it over to your Fear and Hunger game folder. There should already be a www folder there, so overwrite existing files when prompted. The path ought to be something like:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fear & Hunger\
Thought I was done with this, then went and replayed the game and wrote down three full notebook pages of new corrections to make. Twice. Here are just a few of the corrections that were my favorites:

they're barking at the wrong tree --> they're barking up the wrong tree
the hunger almost hooks you up --> the hunger almost consumes you

v1.75 adds fixes for the in-game book texts (thanks again for letting me know, commenter), as well as catching a few typos that eluded me on my first few passes

Sorry, included it in the file description too, but the main game folder, right on top of the existing www folder, overwrite when prompted.
The path ought to be something like:

Thanks so much for this mod, just started playing this today and had to stop and look for a translation fix before I even got to the first actual gameplay section. I may have installed incorrectly, but I noticed immediately that "betrayal" is spelled incorrectly in the Recipes of the 15th Century book I found at the beginning of the game, as is "uncomfortable" under the Talk option in battle.

Okay, fixed those typos, along with a pile more that I found along the way. For some reason, the original version of the CommonEvents data file got deleted, and some of my changes got reverted. This update should fix all book descriptions and text. Please keep sending me typos as you find them, I'll nail em down.
