Great, but... isnt this game like, dead?
I think this game is unique, and if you refer to the online community, yes, is dead... But i only play in LAN and single player, the fact that the "online community" are dead does not worry me (almost all my mods are for dead games, because i think that the current RTS games are not acceptable (with exception of Supreme Commander)... So, here is a mod for these people who still plays to this fantastic game, and i make mods for these people who still plays some old good games.

You can use the lan options to create an internet game provided you are using a striaght modem not a modem/router

You should have made it so that the bodies disappear once you go to the next epoch.
It's a bit wierd to bodies from 200 years ago.
Either way nice to see there are people modding for this game still.
PS: You can still play it on gameranger. It's free needs no registration and supports hundreds of other games. We're trying to establish an E:DMW community there.

Is impossible to let the bodies disappear once you go to the next epoch, the script language for the game is very limited. But it's a good idea, i will try some hack to make a similar thing in 4.0 version.

are you still working on this??? if so their are bugs with people that just keep moving even though they dead... and also sea battles causes the game to crash..

I'm interested in playing this game but I'm not satisfied with the current units and textures in it. Can you please teach me how to mod, so I can make this game a bit more interesting?
I only noticed one problem, I am in the Imperial Age, and Korea has these siege weapons called: Thunder Crash Mortars. After I kill these mortars, they keep shooting from their dead body, which remains forever. I made the grave mistake of slaughtering the Koreans and now my armies can't penetrate their city, I even am using the "NOOB" cheat to try and pump out soldiers so fast that they cant stop us. Haven't gotten within 100 feet of their city yet. Otherwise, loving the mod.
