The ninth update for Elite's Conflict Mod v1.2 Gamma. Assuming you have the full v1.2.45 download, please just delete your XML and Text folders. Then, add the new XML and Text folders into your v1.2.45 data folder. You may replace the Textures file, it is only the updated main menu texture (it should say September 9 2017) in the bottom left when you first open up the game.
This is only a hotfix file set, please reread the summary above for installation information.
Changes Include:
- Updated main menu screen to reflect current version
- Updated mod credits to reflect current version
- Ground turrets have been overhauled, new costs, build times, and health for every one of them for all three factions (please let me know if they need to be nerfed, if they are good, or need more)
- Fixed an issue with the death clone size of the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer
- Fixed an issue with the death clone size of the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer
- Rebel Infiltrator Informants have been redone, they now are more expensive and can be used until discovered and killed by an enemy bounty hunter (more changes may be coming later on)
- Imperial Commissioned Officer Academy renamed to Imperial Academy
- Rebel Commissioned Officer Academy renamed to Rebel Leadership School
- Updated description for the Imperial Academy
- Updated description for the Rebel Leadership School
- Updated system information for planets that can construct Imperial Academy's and/or Rebel Leadership Schools
- Updated the description of The Reliance - Fiolla of Lorrd
- Updated the description of the Imperial Death Troopers
- Fixed an issue where the DP37 Corellian Heavy Gunship had an incorrect name and description
- Fixed an issue where the DP37b Corellian Heavy Gunship had an incorrect name and description
- Fixed an issue where The Downfall - Director Orson Krennic could be made multiple times (please test this, make sure the AI issue has been fixed)
- Fixed an issue where The Reliance - Fiolla Of Lorrd could be made multiple times (please test this, make sure the AI issue has been fixed)
- Imperial Death Troopers have had their firing range and visual range reduced
- Imperial Death Troopers have received a 25% health nerf
- The MC80 Home One-class Star Cruiser has been scaled up slightly
- The Imperial I-class Star Destroyer has been scaled down some
- The Imperial II-class Star Destroyer has been scaled down slightly
- Updated the color of the Rebel Alliance, it is more red than before
- Updated the color of the Corporate Sector Authority, it is now a dark orange instead of a dark green
- The colossal laser ability on the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer has been dramatically nerfed, now it can only be fired within firing range of the vessel, it also does less damage, and it can no longer be used on any of the MC80s (if everyone still hates this ability and really wants it gone, please let me know and suggest an alternative ability)
- Proton Torpedo damage has been increased by 25% for the Empire
- Proton Torpedo damage has been increased by 150% for the Rebellion, this should help make Y-wings and B-wings more important while trying to destroy large Imperial ships, the MC30c will also be slightly stronger now and significantly more useful
- Fixed an issue where the MC30c Assault Frigate didn't show its Proton Torpedo hardpoints
We are still adding content and balancing is a running thing to address but it is looking a lot better! Thank you all for your input. We are releasing v1.2 by early October!
