This is a test demo for a walking simulator type game idea I had.
This was made as a rough test with the Game Guru games creator application. It doesn't represent the game as such, as it was more a test of the GG creators functionality, and of my basic concept.
This is a demo made with the Game Guru games creator application. Although I don't intend using this game creation tool to make my final game, which would probably be made in with either the Unity or Godot engines, I was looking at GG as a way to quickly prototype my ideas for the full project.
This demo was just a first step at checking out the functionality of GG, and isn't really based on the level design of my game, rather it's an attempt at using GGs features to produce am idea of what was possible, before I started to use it for a mock-up of my game idea.
However, the demo is finished and playable with a goal of finding the exit point with a 100% completion rate. If you finish the demo with 100% you will see all the things I was testing for, and hopefully get a rough idea of my intended game.
Please remember this isn't a full game, but I would be interested in your comments of this as a concept. Is it any good, or do you think the concept can't be stretched to a full game. Good or Bad, please feel free to let me know what you think. But remember there is no shooting in this, and a lot of walking/exploring. If this already sounds rubbish, you probably wouldn't like the game I was planning anyway!
To play the demo you must unzip the contents of the DustBoleDemo.zip file and run the DustBoleDemo3.exe program file.
