Well after almost a very long time, i am pleased to annouced that my second version, and final version of my mod is ready. I combined the original Modern Mod v2.0 with Viikkasota's Modern Mod and then the Cantrell city mod to make this content rich modern mod for Mafia. This will also be my final version, i will be releasing a couple patches though to correct some very minor errors there are in my mod. The only errors in my mod currently is that some of the cars pictures won't show up correctly in the car selection menu in free-ride. This version is really stable unlike the first version of my mod where there where a lot of errors. This version doesn't bring the ENB series.

Hi Ripcord. To put this mod into effect, what you must do is copy and replace all the content folder files you will find within the download into the Mafia game directory, most commonly c:/programfiles/mafia or otherwise if you've set it into a d: drive folder like myself.

All you have to do is take each folder, 'Maps, Models, Sounds, Tables, and Missions' as well as the 'RW_data' file, and paste them into the game folder itself. It may feature a confirm-action message - particularly for the RW_data file - so just do 'yes' or 'yes to all' if so.

Once you've got all the content copied over, just start up the game as normal, and away you go.

Happy gaming!

Don't you need to extract all the .dta files first to get the actual folders you named? Because honestly when you install a fresh game of Mafia, you don't have any of these folders (Maps, Models, Tables, Missions) there, only Sound and Savegame folders and lots of A1 to A9, AA, AC and lSdata files all with the extension .dta. I forgot, how that Mafia unpacker/extraction program is called, but it's easy to find with a quick google search.
