Description
The fourth version of the mod is released. It covers the seven chapters of the upcoming full release. The following playable chapters are: Arrival, Dangerous Facility, Heavy Fire, Escalation, Eliminate Freeman!, Newcomers and Demilitarization. Next part will cover another chapters. I hope you will enjoy our my work. Have fun!

This time something went wrong. I get the error message about my incompatible old saves. Previously it was alright with such an updates. And I can't start New Game, instead of it I can only start the New Chapter of the original Black Mesa. It seems that the command -game bmmilitary does not work.
Old saves will not work and that's normal. I don't know how you managed to make them work in the past but you shouldn't worry about that. Try repeating the installation procedure and maybe it will work and uninstall previous version from your game folder. Make sure you're running the mod from Launch Black Mesa Military.bat
Congratulations on making a brand new update, oh and a question, can it run by having another version? Because it doesn't have a launcher to start it.
No sure I understand. The launcher is in the package. It's Lauch Black Mesa Military.bat or Launch Black Mesa Military oldmenu.bat
This is probably user error, but how do I get this running? I've tried both the moddb and workshop version (moved over to my black mesa folder), but the .bat doesn't actually launch the game, even though it's in there with the exe.
Move bmmilitary folder and Launch Black Mesa Military.bat to where you have Black Mesa installed. That's just it. You then click on Launch Black Mesa Military.bat and voilà you can play the mod. At least that's how it works for most people.
Weird, that's what I did. Maybe the antivirus is blocking the file or something.

Hi Ghost! Hi Hecumarine! One of the most commons errors is the name of ".EXE" file. In some cases the name of this file is "bms.exe". In another cases is "RUN_BMS.exe". So, if you have other type of name " .exe" you must load it from cmd. Cause the .bat file execute the command "bms.exe -game bmmilitary -oldgameui".
In my case i execute it with "RUN_BMS.exe -game bmmilitary -oldgameui"
So, go to the .bat file, right click and the "edit" change the "bms.exe" text with the name of your .exe file. Then save and load it.
If you are with time try to:
Go to the cmd (WIN + R) > run like administrator and type:
D: (i foyu have in this disk) or C: (or wherever name the disk have)
Then find the directory "cd \Half Life\black mesa\Black Mesa Source"
(replace the directory names if you have with another names)
And then type: bms.exe -game bmmilitary -oldgameui (if you have another .exe name, put it.

So umm yeah i try to launch it, i keep spamming and spamming and spamming the launch file and then it magically dissapears, is this some sort of bug or am i doing something wrong?
Uhh i detected some sort of bug, when i am at chapter 4 and about to enter some sort of tunnel it teleports me straight back to the menu, it only allows me to play chapters 1, 2, 3 and 4. When i try to play chapter 5, 6 or 7 it doesn't do anything, i press on the chapter twice, sends me to the menu, i click play new game, it does the same, so please, do something.

Without a doubt one of the best Black Mesa/Half Life universe mods I've played in a long time. It was short and sweet. Could some things use some improvement? Most likely so, but it's very very excellent for a project in the alpha stage. Keep up the good work and I hope soon to see it completed. It reminded me so much of the Azure Sheep Black Mesa mod, but instead of playing a security guard you played a HECU marine.

clicked 'launch.bat' several times but nothing happens...all files are where they should be..
you need to copy the folder and military files to your black mesa root folder then run bat file.
will it be compatable with definitive edition?
