Battlefront 2 Sides Expansion by 666rulerofclones is another one of his many side mods he made which replaces ALL stock sides with new modded units which bring a refreshing new feel to the game. This is version 2 of my Battlefront 2 Sides Expansion mod. This does mostly the same as the last version except that this version is ALOT more balanced and gameplay (in my opinion is better). This version also has a few new weapon models, such as the DC-15S Carbine, DC-15A Rifle, DH-17 Carbine, T-21 Light Repeater, E5s Repeating Rifle, and Westar-15 Pistol. The units have gone through some slight changes, but the first thing i think you'll notice is that the Super Battle Droid has been replaced by the battle droid, and the SBD replaced the assault droid (i did beef up his wrist rockets a little bit, though). The magnaguard now has his Bulldog back (Award rifle model changed to E-5s Rifle). The Republic has been beefed up a little bit too. The Republic trooper skins have all been changed a little bit, (sorry about the wierd dust splotches on him, i could'nt fix that). The chaingun now fires the original ordance, but the laser color/texture has been changed to blue, the rifle has been changed to a DC-15S, commando pistol changed to a Westar-15, award rifle is changed to a DC-15A. The Republic spaceships have been changed too. The V-wing and Jedi Starfighter's lasers were removed and they both have the Arc-170's main lasers. The Arc-170 now has three seats, first seat has lasers, second seat has bombs, third seat has a particle cannon. The Imperial sniper rifle is changed to a DLT-20a, award rifle to a T-21. The officer has a rifle instead of a sonic blaster. The rebel rifle model has been changed to a DH-17, award rifle is an A-280. The bothan carries a commando pistol, and incinerator, steath, and a recon droid. The normal rocketeer carries a rifle instead of a pistol, riflemen carry 600 rounds for their rifle, sniper carries commando pistols, engineers have rifles, all officer and special units (except the Magnaguard, Droideka, Bothan Spy, and the Wookie), carry rifles instead of one of their weapons. (usaully a pistol, but if they have a suck-ish type gun, i replaced that with a rifle too.).
INSTALLATION: move all the files inside this folder to Gamedata\data\lvl_pc_\side and DON'T FORGET TO BACK UP/RENAME YOUR ORIGINAL FILES FIRST! I cannp't over-emphasize how important that step is! Then play the game and have fun!
