I'd say a bit, though 28 days music was bit subtler, not to knock the song however it's great, very atmospheric, could see this going into a game easily *thumbs up*
I think that you strongly used inspiration from 28days later (when the main character comes out of the hospital and wanders the street, bridge, etc) mixed with the pace of the resident evil main them.
In fact the only reason why I didn't really think this was a great track was because of the fact that it seemed like you "borrowed" the resident evil main theme scratching noisy bass sound and rythm...i'm just glad you didn't make the song build up like the resident evil theme.
There is no doubt about it that this is a good track, I enjoy listening to other peoples creations, but I am getting a bit tired of "borrowed" sounds and rythms, I enjoy music for the work that has been put into it, not 100% on how it sounds.
To sum it up, it is a good track that probably needs to be changed quite alot to make it a little more interesting.
I believe it would fit into a cutscene for a game or the credits of a game, but this would definately kill the mood for me if I was walking along an empty street.
You have a good basis, now you just need to work on it. I am by no means a music professional in the fact that I don't have the resources to create good music (only using what comes with Reason 3.0) but I believe sticking to the basics for songs like this is key.

Its great but kind of marred by the little happy tune in the middle, it kind of reminds me of bunnies jumping in a field of Sunflowers.

Keep it up, I hope to see more work from you.
