This is an awesome launcher, probably the best thing about the mod. Loads of options, with just one click. For us english players, here's a brief summary of the features of this launcher:
- choose campaigns using the classic Empire map or the expanded map similar to Imperial Destroyer
- choose early 1700, late 1772, or 1703 great northern war campaigns
- choose standard campaigns with all nations or campaigns specifically tailored to factions (Russia, Habsburgs, Sweden, Britain, France, Poland, USA, Eastern nations, Pirates, etc)
All of those options available with just a single click on the PUA mod launcher. No manual fiddling of files or the userscript.
And here's a summary of the campaign options in the launcher:
1700 CL - classic Empire TW map
1772 CL - classic Empire TW map with a later start date
1700 L biM - extended map similar to Imperial Destroyer
1700 LE biM - extended map but with more historical starting conditions
1703 biM - extended map with even more historical starting conditions based on the Great Northern War and the War of the Spanish Succession
For the campaigns with specific factions in their name, it is designed to be more challenging for the player to play as those factions.
I am sorry but this is a very bad translation. It is not possible to understand. Can you find someone who can translate it correctly in an understandable way ?
Mod is great in general, but why public order is so ****** up? -80 or -90 even in capital region because of foreign occupation? Foreign occupation own native territory, bruhhh
That's by design, for historical simulation.
I'll repost here some examples from the mod discord.
Spain with negative public order in Flanders and Lombardy:
"These revolts from Spain mimic their takeover of the Allied coalition in the War of the Spanish Succession, Flanders and Lombardy going to the Habsburgs, and Gibraltar to Great Britain. This is a historical scenario, plus it has a positive effect on drawing factions into more active hostilities."
Poland with negative public order in Warsaw:
"From the start of the Northern War, Poland also begins a civil war with the Warsaw Union, which is a pro-Swedish satellite state. The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth player needs to survive, accumulate his strength and defeat competitors for the Polish throne, and also help Russia defeat Sweden in the long Northern War!"
Russia:
"Yes, starting conditions can and will change from campaign to campaign. The most striking example is that if you take the Russia faction to play in the “For Other Houses” campaign, then its conditions at the start will be easier and more favorable than in the “For Russia” campaign. This is expressed in a more reduced uprising of Kondrat Bulavin, studied technologies, hiring of units, their cost, etc."
Everything in the mod is well thought out by the devs. You can join the discord if you have more questions, the devs are VERY active and willing to help :)
If you want to start a campaign with easier conditions, start a "For Russia" campaign and then DON'T play as Russia. Or start a "For Spain" campaign and then DON'T play as Spain. If you start a named faction campaign and then play as that faction, it would set the starting conditions to be very challenging and historical according to the specified year.
Ok, thank you for explanation. Now I Understand more and now it makes sense. However, even if idea is great ( national tensions etc.) It's a bit broken. In India, Mughal's eastern provinces are lost after turns and British colonies take it and later Great Britain annex it ( something like 13 colonies are annexed by Britain)
Yes, I understood description that playing nation which name is in scenario makes it harder, but recommended for playing it ( for events, music, UI and other cosmetics and gameplay things, I guess)
Sorry if you felt insulted and my language from start wasn't very nice.
Ok, it's nice that you translate what devs want to say ( because their English is worse than your). However, Russians ( they are from this country, right) make cool modes for any game :)
In addition, the default settings are the recommended settings of the devs. Only change the launcher settings if you know what you want to change in the mod to your liking.

is there an option to fix in the launcher? This amount of public order is deal breaker really :((
I've not seen any option about it

Don't worry I wasn't insulted and I'm not part of the dev team, just a fellow player :)

Yeah almost every thriving mod community for any game has awesome Russian mods.
