We had some problems but the 6th release is back again
HOW TO INSTALL:
1)To enable local files (if you are on Windows) - Instructions edited from Eges96 original instructions
0- You may need administrator permission to edit regedit
1- Open the registry by press Windows + R and type “regedit.exe” - without the “”
2- Find the folder: HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Blizzard Entertainment>Warcraft III
3- Right-click on the blank space in that folder (right panel) and select Create - New DWORD
Name: Allow Local Files
Value: 00000001
4- Once created, check the file for typos. Close regedit and now you can start Warcraft 3 with the local files. You may restart your computer to make sure the changes take effect.
2) Installing Mod
1- Open the rar, you will see a folder called 6th release
2- Move everything from that folder into your War3 folder, many loose files and folders will be created inside your War3 installation.
3-Play the game
Will you share a full compilation or just additional patch in the next release?

Umm i did all that but was the entire folder or do i take out everything from that folder and move it to the warcraft 3 folder cause i did this and the model are still the same. also when i did this my game updated on me should've ignored that right?
everything out of that folder, you can do the updates no problem with it

What if I didn't install the game at the "blizzard entertainment/warcraftIII"

so what the difference between the two reborn mods
Eges96, Don't get me wrong, I am grateful for your hard work on your amazing mod. This is something I noticed even before they changed it to be actual pale skin in reforged as well as before this mod. It's always bugged me. All the Death Knight models skin colors look like a statue gray hue instead of a pale skin hue.
Now I am not asking you to swap the Death Knight's gender like in reforged. What I am asking here is to make the Death Knights skin color look pale and not like statues. Preferably in contrast to the skin tones used in your mod respectively.
If you have read this, thanks for reading and I look forward to your response.

Hi sir Eges96, how to install this mod?
I did all the steps:
- R + Windows
- Regedit
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Blizzard Entertainment/Warcraft III
- DWORD
- Name "allow local files"
- Value 00000001
but it doesn't work, i have Windows 7 64 bits with Warcraft 3 version 1.31! try inserting the "6threlease" in the "Warcraft 3" folder, then try putting it in folders called "war3.w3mod" or "war3mod.mpq" but it doesn't work!! the update created a folder called "86_64" where i put the "6threlease" but it doesn't work either! What do i do to make the mod work correctly?

pd: i did everything "running as administrator"
just copy everything inside of the rar directly to the warcraft III's installation folder
it worked! now i understand, it was to paste everything inside 6threlease, not put the 6threlease folder, THANK YOU!
Hey guys, i moved it all to the "Program Files/Warcraft III" folder, but it dont do anything, models still same. idk what to do, and yes, i extracted it from the folder how u all wrote here. someone knows?
I have a problem with the installation. According to the instructions you should unpack the 6thRelease into the war3 folder. But Warcraft III has no War3 folder anymore. Or at least the version I have (public test v1.31).
So where should you unzip the files? Into the main folder in the data folder? Should I create a war3 folder? And if yes: where? I have no idea. Besides, it would be a good idea to adjust the instructions to avoid such ambiguities, wouldn't it?
Unpack to ptr's installation folder and allow local files for ptr too
So i unpack the 6thRelease into the Main Game Folder, edit the Registry and restart my PC. And i have NO new HD Models ingame.

You must edit warcraft III public test realm in registry
Having issues with some textures not loading. Many models are all single colour while others have partially new textures and partially missing ones. Especially neutral creeps and campaign unique models. In addition, loading some campaign maps crashes the game.
Currently running 1.29FT. Tried updating to 1.31 to see if it fixes the issue, but couldn't find a working patch anymore and Battle.net refuses to patch the game. Any thoughts or tips?
There are some fixes I have posted that should fix the crashes , I am not sure about what you are saying though what are partially missing ones ?
Wait a minute! How did you manage to patch WarCraft III to 1.29? And how exactly did you plan to patch the game to 1.31? The last official standalone patch was 1.27b. And the current patch level is 1.32.

Hi the mod doesn't work on the 1.31 version for me at all!
the top version that this mod works for me is 1.29.2 but it has some problems like Arthas having an ugly face and no cage texture for the human chapter 1!

Many things are broken for 1.26 due to forced widescreen. This works best with native widescreen support so you need versions 1.30+

I followed the instructions and it works but some units and buildings still have their old model in-game even though their portrait is new.
Night Elf's Tree of Life and most of the other units have a new portrait but retained their old model. How to fix this? Thanks.
The project is unfinished and probably wont be finished in a long time as this guy has almost no help and is doing most of the stuff on his own. So all models have not been remade.
