Good morning and hello again! We are a small independent game dev team who's currently working on a re-imagination of Half Life deathmatch on the Source Engine with a new fresh style.

We are using SDK 2013 MP this mean all our assets are started from scratch

The game style it is very inspired by TF2 and Black Mesa

  • So what are we ''exactly'' looking for?

We are currently looking for level designers, programmers, HUD designer and Modelers for this multiplayer project to bring it to life.

LEVEL DESIGNERS:

  • Have 4 or 6 year experience with Valve software's Hammer Editor
  • Previous work with the Source Engine is required
  • you'll be able to work with each others, giving em feedback and being constructive
  • We are looking for more level designers who can remake each maps and work on maps such as subtransit, the hazard course training level, uplink, frenzy, boot camp etc. Some maps like crossfire, datacore are already in the work but don't worry you'll be able to remake maps that aren't chose it yet
  • you'll can make layouts for the map and describing scenarios etc
  • time-lapse is required for each map we would do some art studies tests
  • optimizing levels and understand the Source Engine progress
  • PROGRAMMERS:
  • You'll must be familiar with the C++ and the Source Engine itself
  • previous work with the Source Engine is required
  • coders would be able to work on gamemode logic, coding the weapons arsenal, and just cleaning up Valve's spaghetti code in general. Hopefully none of this this should be too hard.
  • Voice Command system
  • Discord Rich Presence to feature gamemodes, location and map also the team of what are you playing.
  • working on ai features such as the snark ai, turrets and working on new source engine effects etc.

MODELERS/ANIMATORS/TEXTURE ARTISTS:

  • Must be experienced with modeling software such as Blender or Maya example and have knowledge in texturing
  • Previous work with the Source Engine is required
  • you'll be able to models some props including the vending machine, black mesa cars, helicopters, vents etc.
  • Remaking the HL1 container props
  • remaking the black mesa walls, floors, roofs, containers etc.
  • texturing the model props like the vending machine, black mesa cars, helicopters etc.
  • Animating the characters movement, weapons, npcs and more.
  • Animating the fast paced movement

HUD DESIGNERS:

  • We are currently very much in need of a hud designer we are currently using the HL2 default HUD as a placeholder and we would like to get a functional HUD for the game and the HUD must be a TFC and Black Mesa-inspired style.
