Glorious Maximus is set to launch in the next couple months on iOS and Android, for all tablets and phones. It is an action-fighting game with a unique mechanic - trade blows and blocks with enemies to knock them off the battlefield for victory! Set in the fictional historical Rome, the player sets forth on an epic quest to achieve the highest Roman honor: Glorious Maximus.
The player will travel across the many lands surrounding Rome, fighting against historical and non-historical figures from each culture. To gain honor and wealth, enemies must be slain and progress around the map must be made. As players advances through the 8 distinct map regions and battle the over 30 enemies, they will notice RPG gameplay elements in needing to acquire new recruits and new weaponry to remain victorious.
Each battle is a head-to-head conflict between the player’s gladiator and a new enemy, which all have their own particular fighting styles. Similar in presentation but unique in gameplay from most fighting games, the battles in Glorious Maximus are fought as an inverse tug-of-war, each combatant trying to push the other off the battlefield (to their death).
