Polygoat is a two-man team founded in 2015 by Frederik Smolders (game/app developer) and Robin Gielis (animator and teacher). Our first game, Stitchy: A Scarecrow’s Adventure, started out as a hobby project of Frederik who wanted to learn the graphics side of game development after spending the better part of his days programming serious games, apps and web applications during his day job. Robin is an ex-Playlogic employee who traded in his game-developing life for a career as a game design and animation teacher, after working on games such as Xyanide, EyePet and Fairytale Fights. To keep his skills fresh and up-to-date he decided to join Frederik as a mentor and colleague in Polygoat. While maintaining our day jobs, we created Stitchy in our spare time. We try to create fun, small and uplifting games that can entertain young and old.
