Speaking at the GPU Technology Conference on Tuesday, NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang showcased how their Iray technology can be used to create interactive VR worlds. Whilst many VR experiences are aimed towards gaming, Iray VR is designed to aid the development process by offering photo-realistic virtual tours of the developers creations.

Iray VR is going to be unbelievable for people designing cars, for people architecting buildings and many other areas.

Iray has proven itself to architects and lighting designers, who are using its capabilities to model how light interacts with their designs at any time of day, and any day of the year.
