New Universe v.1.8 will be a milestone in freelancer modding and include alot new features like:
Animated ship models
Totaly rebalanced vanilla universe to make it more interessting to play in there
New shipclasses
New upgrades for each shipclass
Buyable scanners
Rebalanced old shipclasses and added new weaponclasses
New challenge and quest systems
Real and we mean REAL 3D systems
Missions in nearly all systems from and agains nearly every faction
New graphical enhancements (new planets, new starspheres, new effects)
and
of course
the long time expected
