"Beta Version" New details textures for Stalker(All versions)
Its just small compilation of new detail textures uploaded for no real reason, They will not be part of Stalker-Two K because they are not really compatible/needed in it. Well they are technically compatible, but its better to use them with Default textures, "Tiny Little" version and Structure/Nature Redux just because they are take some memory, and normal Two-K version is just heavy enough...
Stalker use detail mask in really weird way, it actually use them as main source of details for all textures, using proper diffuse textures just as some sort of "color mask". It dont show them only when player is close to object, but show this mask even where you are far away...
Also they are made in really weird way, similar to bump# maps used for parallax effect.
Its a bit pain in the ass to make them, so you can encounter some bugs, after all its first version, especially too visible repetition of dark elements or darker objects. Report any bugs in comment section.
Also dont expect some huge difference, it will be visible, but: a. its first release b. even if Stalker use detail in weird way, "details" of those details will be still really visible only from very close range(0-2m)
In the ZIP there are two versions, 512px and 1024px, 512px is default resolution, 1024px is 2x time bigger, but it dont really hit performances much more than default, so dont afraid to test it first.
-Just copy gamedata folder to Stalker game folder.
