Texture pack for TRA, aiming to bring the visuals of the Atlantis levels closer to how the original game looked in '96.
So I have never been happy with the visual update Atlantis got in the remake, and I did my best here to rework almost every texture for the last few levels to bring it closer to how it looked in the original game. Because of how the game places textures my hands were tied in some places, and I ended up using a volcanic texture for some stone surfaces instead of raw flesh, but I'm pretty confident I got it as good as I could. The bony floor and wall textures and the red tiled ledges are pretty close, and I got the textures around the birthing pods as veiny and fleshy as possible. There are also a bunch of textures that I made as high resolution as possible without interfering with their look too much (rocks, glyphs, lava, smoke fx etc.)
There is also a 2nd file in the package with a bunch of upgraded textures for other parts of the game that aim to make for a sharper, more pleasant look, while staying consistent with the original textures. This is by no means comprehensive, so I didn't upload it as a separate mod, but I believe there're some nice improvements there (water, rock, moss textures mostly, HD weapon icons etc). There is also an old/new logo for the menu for nostalgic reasons.

Known issues:
This is a pretty hefty pack, so it slows down the initial launch of the game a bit while Texmod loads the files, but it's not too bad and I hope worth the extra few seconds of waiting.
Make sure to have Steam running and steam.dll copied in the game folder if you own that version and have trouble launching the game with Texmod!
I also warmly recommend using my other texture pack for the characters for the complete '96 experience.
