Redneck Rides Again Upscaled Tileart for use with Redneck Rides Again Ports.
LITE PERFORMANCE VERSION.
REDAGAIN UP A**ED TEXTURE PACK LITE by V01DXIX
I GAVE YA'LL FAIR WARNING THAT MY A** WAS ABOUT TO FOLLOW THROUGH>>>
UPDATE
Lite version added. Same textures but utilizing image compression to reduce file size which should help those needing performance boost. As suggested by SWAMPFLIES. Don't forget to grab the fixed files for Raze users and also added textures that I missed. Moddb.com
INFO AGAIN>>
The aim of this was to stick as close to the original game as possible but improve visuals for modern hires monitors and remove the blocky look of old dos games. This way it keeps the nostalgia and atmosphere of classic games.
All tile art extracted for editing>>
All textures upscaled atleast 4x size. Gore and bulletholes textures upscaled more. Upscaled with Topaz Gigapixel.
All textures are true to original with the exception of the dynamite stick, this looked terrible upscaled so
I created my own but still tried not to change the original look too much.
All textures have been edited with Topaz AI Denoise to remove noise, slightly sharpen and recover original detail.
Gore textures have been edited individually to alter the bright red blood to a more realistic shade and enhance the detail.
Skyboxes have all been upscaled, denoised, sharpened and detail enhanced.
When loading through rednukem you will notice the message log say some textures not found, these are not used anyway. I again just took the lazy oldcoot way of indexing and defining all tiles.
ITS A WRAP FOR NOW, I SHOULD OF WRAPPED MY A**H*LE YE HAH!
Some old low res textures remain in the maps, not many but you can notice them. These are most likely built into the .MAP files for levels. I may look into changing these at a later date.
CREDITS AGAIN>>
