Hey guys, i was boring and made this map last week. its called mp_dr_poseidon_2. Dont hate too much its only made in 20 hours :). Hope you like it anyway. Well this map looks nothing like poseidon and I think this should be renamed. I think you should have focused more on the detail again to make it better. Any1 could have done the mapping parts on this map, but what I like was the automatic movers that made the map little harder. I myself like a bit harder maps so I'm seeing already noobs failing on those automatic movers xD I liked sniper room a lot and jump room was ok. Remake this map with details like on poseidon and its perfect :) #LessSquaresMoreDetailsAndCurves

You cant compare this map with poseidon because this is made in 20 hours while poseidon in 9 months.

only mappers seem to like details. actual people really just dont care. Its just my point of view..
and anyway im not here to argue about details. this is the map: like it or not. :P
Noobs don't care about details, they just want to play the maps they think they're best at. Regular nooby players dont like details because it drops their fps down. But in the reality where they need higher than 125 anyway?

Hey, i never said i dont like details. i love them. But the fps thing is amazingly valid. Most people play cod4 on really low end hardware and strugle to get the 125 even on fullbright. my first map had terrible fps cuz of all the details.
Much details doesnt necesarily mean that some players will have a low fps. The keyword for this is portalling (using cells to unload geometry which players cant see directly). if you're a pro at this then you can even run your detailed map on players with a wooden pc.
