Modifies drops and monster characteristics for the game. Basically drops uniques at the maximum chance they can drop based of the text files limit (also with sets if you are in destruction difficulty and using the correct bin file).

Basically gives the highest possible drop for uniques or sets depending on the choice of itemratio.bin. The difficultylevels.bin allows you to always have a total resistance of 255% however will stop at 90% due to the nature of Median XL's newer versions. This also modifies the enemies to still be able to be stolen at maximum life steal and mana steal, freezing should fully apply towards them, skills should equal their normal difficulty level and all sorts of stats like that. However if you only want the drop mod you needn't install the difficultylevels.bin.
Install:
No D2SE:
Where is says itemratio(sets).bin or itemratio(unique).bin, rename one of them to itemratio.bin and place it in the data/global/excel of your game directory. Create a shortcut to your executable and in the target line, give it -direct. -txt will crash you upon loading Median XL into games for newer versions like Ultimative (other old ones shouldn't). Optionally for monster modifying stats you may place difficultylevels.bin in the same folder that you placed itemratio.bin. Then run the game from the shortcut.
With D2SE:
Same first step for itemratio.bin in the No D2SE section, then place it into Diablo II\MODS\Median XL\data\global\excel, same with the difficultylevels.bin as well if you want monster modification stats. Next you need to open the D2SE_SETUP.ini. Inside you should see something called [USERSETTINGS], under it you need to add "direct=1" without quotes, if it exists already, overwrite the 0 with a 1 and then start D2SE normally and run the game. It should load the bin data you decided to use.
This will work on basically any version of Median XL, and regular D2 if you decide to use it there as well. Have fun.

Hey, the readme is on the "Read more" section of the description tab above. however, it doesnt work for me. im waiting for a response on my post below, but it hasnt been approved by the admin yet.
Goes into Diablo II\data\global\excel\itemratio.bin
Create a shortcut to game.exe where the target is "LocationToDiablo2\Game.exe" -direct
This will NOT work for Sigma. I will post something that will work when I get back into the game again.

i have done exactly how u have stated above..and still will not work for me.. is there something im missing or something?????
Read the description for a video link on how to install.
so i need some support. i dont have a "data/global/excel" in my Median, or D2 LOD games.
My Median has a launcher, but no actual game.EXE, so i cant make a shortcut to it. is there something im missing? do you perhaps have a video of the installation process somewhere?
There should be a game.exe otherwise your game would not run at all. Try to check again you can also make a shortcut to Diablo II.exe as well and it will work. Just not for Sigma.

I seem to only get rares. Anybody know why? Using Sigma 1.8. MXL.mpq doesn't allow me to extract treasureclassex.txt (only shows .bin) so I can't modify that either.
Does this still work with 2.0?
