or over 4000 years Isla Del Fuego has been a sunny stopping point along the tropical shipping lanes. It's culture and history reflect a long and colored past under the rule of Spain, Portugal, Turkey, and even the Roman Empire. More recently it has existed comfortably as a territory of Takistan but military upheaval there has left the tiny island a political hotspot ready to boil over.
