Flying Wild Geese - World in Conflict - Domination Map V1.1
The playfield should be somewhere in Africa, including large fields, swamp and jungle parts, so all kind of troops can have their fun...
The map requires:
- gameversion 1.011 (latest version, featuring all released maps) and
- a fast PC
Some features:
- nearly 1500 block boxes should ensure realistic ways for all troops (they will not go straight ahead across the country). It works quite good, you can watch it, choose 3 or 4 infantry teams for every side and let the computer play.
- infanterie can go nearly everywhere (use choppers), vehicles not,
- a few custom palms and green, I borrowed from EvilViking ;-),
- a lot of trees, some with new textures, to get a quite good jungle part, although with summer-trees :-),
- the whole map was rendered in highest solution.

Only added a little bit foam around rocks, bridges and the waterfall.
I finally found a way to get it ... anyhow, it has annoyed me and left me no peace :-)
How ever ...I think the water looks better now.
very nice detailed map, since the modern warfare release maps i hadnt seen something like this... I tihnk you should help some mod by doing maps, most probably moden warfare (since this map could get included), and if you want something more futuristic and new props, contingency (We need all the help we can get).

Making a quite good looking and working well map, costs a lot of time.
My english is ok but not perfect and all the tutorials explain a lot of stuff but at last not the essential things. In addition all the tools are primary not made for the public and all are a little bit bugy.
After making the fishing ground map, I unsuccessful tried to contact some of the MW team, because I had problems with trying to integrate some new props and features...
I don't know if they knew about this - using the features of this site sometimes is more difficult than creating a map... :-) anyhow till today I didn't get an answer.
How ever - currently, I try myself on a few little MODs - step by step ;-).
My distant goal is to get the Blackhawdown Mod or something similar working again and creating a map for it ...

awesome map, it looks gorgeous.
i only see one little problem (big problem from the tactical perspective), were you put the command points. every tactician want to fortify and put its men in high ground. look the vanilla map do_silo for example.
nobody will fortify a low terrain position, even if its closer to a building, every military manual will recommend to fortify the highest ground possible, because it gives you a lot of advantage and the best view of the terrain.
put the command points in other place.
other than that, everything else is perfect, very good job.

In tactical view everyone has the option and should work together with other special forces - tactical reconnaissance - for example. That's the game. - But maybe your are right.
I'm working on an update for this and maybe the others maps anyway and I'll think about it.
However currently I have fun in creating a small MOD and a few new props for this game. These things are in my main focus, cause it costs a lot of time, too ... :-)

One of the best custom maps ever played! Also, all the positions to hide infantry work perfectly!
Please make more maps like this!
