Description

This mod replaces all of the original sounds for the game. For this version the "player" weapon sounds have been converted to a "2 CHANNEL STEREO FORMAT" to improve quality. A more realistic decay, or ring-off has also been added to each weapon which helps represent their real-life counterparts more accurately. The reloading sounds for all of the bolt action rifles, and most of the other weapons have been changed to include the actual re-loading sounds for that particular weapon. I have also included one other modification that corrects the rate of fire for some of the weapons. Corrections have also been made to various weapon sound bugs. For example, the AI Thompson sound will no longer use the M1 Garand sound, and the tank shell explosions will now use the mortar explosion sounds in place of the grenade sounds. Hello, I just wanted to know what did you do to convert mono sounds to stereo? Usually when I convert a mono weapon sound to stereo, the player weapon sound works but when the stereo firing sound is applied to npcs, they're silent.

PvtParts1 in short stereo works for player/local, music and ambient sounds. 3rd person sounds must be mono.
For more details look into any CSV soudalias header (iw_sounds2.csv for ex). Simple general rule is that basically any sound that is supposed to be emitter (ie. have a source direction) must be mono
