Tutorial: How to Mod AvP
You may not edit, use or modify this modification without consent.
Installation:
1. Copy the extracted "aliens vs predator" folder to "\Steam\steamapps\common"
2. Click 'Yes to All' to overwrite all existing files.
3. Open common.lst from the \Misc folder with the notepad.
4. Add a the following line at the bottom: misc\NoHUD.en
5. Save the file and close the notepad.
6. Run the game and enjoy.
Note: The extension .en of the modded files means the game has to be on English or the modification won't work. If you want to use this mod in your desired language, this
extension should be changed to the one from your region. For eg: Spanish = .sp,
French = .fr, Italian = .it, German = .ge
Verifying the integrity of the game cache will uninstall this mod.

well on multiplayer when someone dies it only shows the tiny picture of what killed him/her. can you fix that?

Would you guys be able to keep the cross-hairs though? Just for aiming purposes release a 2nd version of this when you guys got the time.

This is great simply for videos and people looking for atmosphere alone!
i just downloaded the mod the view is awesome but not having cross hairs, health/energy bars and especially not being able to chat is just to frustrating. i removed the misc\NoHUD.en but it wont go back to how it was. i have no clue what to do now. would appreciate any help =)
Just verify the integrity of the game cache on Steam and the mod should be removed. I'll try to fix the chat issue tho.

but still bro..when i remove HUD mod..still no bars for the weapons and many things..i had to uninstalled it

Is there anyway to keep the cross hairs while using this mod? As there is no "aim/zoom" button in this game, the cross hair is something we need.

EXCELLENT MOD! I hated the arcade style hud displays needlessly added for stupid effects cluttering up the screen and added to confusion.
although this mod did get rid of some basics like motion tracker and cross hairs, is there a way to just keep that bit, still, it's refreshing to clean up the screen, in particular the alien speed effects that causes a headache.
does it work for multi and will it effect steam account?
Yeah, it works in MP too. And no, it won't affect your Steam account.

Yo AVP Galaxy you still out there? is there anyway to customise what is effected? is it possible to have the UI for, the scoped rifle, alien heavy attack,pred combi stick, & smart gun?? really enjoying the mod, thank's for all the effort you have gone to. much obliged if it's possible..
