This month in modding...

September was a month chock full of many notable releases, yeilding the biggest mod spotlight video yet. More and more mods are finding how to get themselves onto the front page to make as many people as possible aware of what they're doing. If you have a mod that you think needs a little bit more love, read up on how ModDB can help you promote your major releases. Not only will you receive the adoration of ModDB visitors but interest from outside parties as well. Mods and Indie games that show up in our headlines have been know to make the rounds of other popular gaming sites and magazines.

What is the Indie Rumble? It's a gaming event put together with the help of ModDB, Trinity Gaming and TGBF.TV. A gathering of independent developers over a casual tournament played out in Team Fortress 2. Last month saw the initial test run broadcast which pitted the PVK II team against the devs at Isotx. If you missed the broadcast, be sure to check out the round zero recap for all the interviews, match commentary and capture the flag action.

We're interested to know what you think.
