Dynahud is a hud manager that constantly monitors the gameplay and controls hud elements accordingly. What does it mean?
Here some examples
Your health bar will be hidden until your health starts diminishing or it is below a certain threshold.
The radiation bar will stays hidden unless you start taking radiation.
Your psy bar will be hidden when it is full and shows up on your hud when something is lowering your psy health.
Your minimap is automatically hidden when your weapon is equipped. This and other forms of automatism are the scope of the Dynahud Hud Manager.
Dynahud's main control points are the main hud, minimap, status icons, Anomaly weapon hud (ammo counter, icon and fire mode) and companions hud.
Additionally, it can support several other hud elements from other mods like FiremodeCheck, Ammo Check, Magazines Redux, Barts Good Ammo Counter, Body Health System, Cold System.
The Dynahud's automation is fully customizable through its MCM menu. Check the MCM menu for an explanation of all its control modules and how to configure them to your liking

The Hud Manager is installed independently and then you can choose to use the Dynahud official reskin (4 choices) or simply have the Hud Manager inherit your current installed HUD.This option is supported with patches for selected Hud, other Huds requires custom patches to be made

You must install these Hud mods or have them installed already. Dynahud does not include any of the mods above
Head to the MCM settings and for each section you can define the rule for each Dynamic Hud Module that controls a specific family of Hud elements
Enable Dynamic Main Hud to have the Dynahud manager control the Main Hud UI elements.
In dynamic mode, Dynahud will try to autohide the Main Hud UI elements like the health bar, radiation bar and psy.
The settings help you tune the autohide logic to your liking by deciding which threshold values will trigger the autohide and the auto-show
For the Huds that feature a solid background texture below the bars, you can also set rules to hide that, making the main Hud completely inconspicuous.
Here are some videos examples that show how the hud changes dynamically based on the damage your receive, triggering the auto-show of the UI elements and the healing afterward that triggers the autohide of such UI elements
You can still toggle entirely the HUD with its dedicated key, defined in the game main menu settings/control/keybind
Enable Dynamic Status Icon Hud to have the Dynahud manager control the status icons that represent buffs and debuffs
Dynahud will hide or show them based on event timers and actions (e.g. closing inventory, using a consumable item)
Dynahud is also able to reposition the icons if the Main Hud is hidden, having them take its place (bottom left corner) and then go back to the normal position to the right of the Main Hud background texture.
This is particularly useful with certain HUD that use the BHS Hud or the ZVER Hud which both use that particular part of the screen estate and when they are hidden it is not used. The Dynahud make sure to reposition the status icons, if any is active, to the empied area of the screen.
You can also reposition the status icons from the the HUD default configuration using the mcm menu settings
For example you will be able to place the status icons on the top of the screen

Enable Dynamic Weapon Hud to have the Dynahud manager control the weapon hud elements like the ammo counter, ammo icon and additionally the custom Huds from other mods like Mags Redux.
Dynahud will hide or show them based on event timers and actions (e.g. reload, aiming, ammo check)
Dynahud can recognize elements that might overlap, for instance, Mags Redux magazine hud and ammo icon or minimap if they are positioned in the same place and show only one based on defined priorities

Enable Dynamic Companion Hud to have the Dynahud manager control the companion hud and hide it when your companions are out of combat and show it when they engage in combat. Companion hud also is reactive of certain situations, for instance when companions are issued the Ingore Combat command or are lagging behind or stuck
When hidden, you can always preview the companion hud by holding the companion wheel hotkey

Enable Dynamic BHS Hud to have the Dynahud manager take control of the BHS Hud if you have installed the Body Health System mod
Dunahud will turn the BHS Hud into an event notification. What does that mean? Well as long as your limbs are fully healed the BHS hud will stay hidden but whenever you receive limb damage (injury) the BHS Hud is displayed notifying you that some of your limbs are damaged.
At this point you have 3 options, wait and keep the BHS hud on screen as a reminder to heal later, hold the H key to dismiss it (it will be hidden again) and ignore the injury or fully heal right there the injury and have it hidden by Dynahud manager automatically.
You won't use the BHS anymore to check your overall health, that is on the Main Hud and the health bar. Thus it's completely safe to go around with the BHS hud hidden.
This is the default behavior of Dynahud with the BHS Hud, additionally you can configure it further to the point of hiding entirely the BHS if you don't like it. However, when opening the inventory the BHS is always displayed.
The H key works as a toggle between dynamic and static modes of the BHS hud, with the static being that is always on screen opposite to the dynamic behavior explained above. If you disable the Dynamic BHS Hud in the mcm setting it will go back to the legacy BHS mode.
Dynahud include patches for the three version of BHS, the classic one, the GAMMA one and the EFP one. The GAMMA version of BHS is also improved to be more responsive as in the EFP version. Credits to the EFP team for this great enhancement.
These patches are in the form of the original scripts from the BHS mods. The patches consist only in turning some variables global so the Dynahud Hud Manager can access the BHS health data and act accordingly. All credits for the above BHS mod stays with the original authors of the mods.

EFT style BHS hud
Option to install an alternate BHS hud with two different types of huds, one that is displayed in the player fov screen which is still handled as an event hud (pop up when getting injured) and one in the inventory as static hud and is displayed when you open the inventory.

Dynahud will hide or show the minimap or compass based on the player's actions (e.g. equip/unequip weapon, mag reload, ammo check, lower/raise weapon, sprinting)

Enable Dynamic Magazine Hud to have the Dynahud manager take control of the Mag Hud if you have installed the Mags Redux mod
Dynahud will hide or show the Mag Hud depending on the player's actions (e.g. mag reload, ammo check)
Enabling weapon check also displays the fire mode Hud if you have the Firemode Check mod installed

Enable Dynamic Cold System Hud to have the Dynahud manager take control of the Cold Hud if you have installed the Cold System mod
When the Dynamic Cold System is enabled, the Cold Hud will stay hidden as long as the cold value does not cross certain safety thresholds or breakpoints.
Above the safety threshold the Cold Hud will be shown for few seconds and hidden again until the cold cross next breakpoint value.
When your cold level is decreasing the Cold Hud turns in recovery mode and is shown and always on. For instance when near a campfire.

These go from a Stalker 2 style hud, inspired by the Stalker 2 Hud Mod by Mike0422 Moddb.com, to more minimalistic choices that have still the same design language.

Dynahud includes a compass implementation that is capable of displaying map markers (campfires, npc, smart terrain, etc) and waypoints (selected tasks arrows).
Use it with P.A.W. Moddb.com and you have the perfect combo
Both options use compass textures from Modular Compass Minimap - lifestorock and Stalker 2 Hud Mod. Full credit to them for the textures.
This compass option is only available in the installer if you choose to install the Dynahud reskin hud

To install Dynahud use Mod Organizer and follow the installer options.
You can install Dynahud in Vanilla Anomaly with and without BHS and other hud mods, in GAMMA (with and without BHS) and EFP.
In all of these configurations, you can choose to use the Dynahud reskin hud or inherit whichever hud you have installed.

Dynahud can work well with hud mods that have been designed from the start to stay hidden and its part be dynamic so to speak. Unfortunately I cannot patch all the mods out there nor redising them.
You can still try to use the Inherith option and select no patch and see how does it work, or you can ask the author of your favourite hud to look into Dynahud and try to modify his mod or create a patch for Dynahud trou you can reach out to me and I can help you create a custom patch for your hud.
The mod does not have any proper support for resolutions different from 16:9 unfortunately, so if other resolution formats display issues you have to make a patch yourself. However you can hop in the GAMMA support thread above and ask for help, me or any other users will gladly offer some guidance with the patching.
Partial russian localization is included however some bits of the mcm menu are still in english. Some volunteers that can finish the remaning part of the menu are very much welcome
This is my first mod so expect some jankiness and bugs althought the mod has been in public beta for quite sometime so most bugs have been smashed.
I learned Anomaly modding while making this mod thus the code is not really wonderful but it does it job and it good enough for the time being.
In the mid term future, a couple of months from now, I will try to rewrite the mod code entirely, using all the lessons I have learned so far.
The main goal this time around would be to turn Dynahud into an extensible framework where other huds can plug into it easily with no need of creating custom patches

I understand the disappointment and I expected it as there is so many hud mods that is impossible to serve them all.
In the case of Vodis and probably other similar huds, it is itself quite complex by desing to being able to figure out how that fits in the Dynahud hiding mechanics.
It would probably need a redising of some of its parts and this is out of scope of the mod in question. More likely the author of Vodis should think of an alternate design that can be used with the Dynahud now that Dynahud is available and also it's up to him to make that.
Have you tried to use the inherit option and select no patch and see how does it look like with Dynahud. Is Dynahud able to control some of the elements?
You can also use any of the Dynahud reskin choices which have been designed from start with the Dynahud mod in mind
It does work to control some of the elements, like auto-hiding, while others are off or overlap, like the weight icon showing on top of the health bar.
It would definitely need some testing for all the Vodis options though, as the icons overlapping is probably due to me using the centered HUD.
You can try to disable some Dynahud functionalities in the mcm for those things that do not seem to work or try to figure out which version of Vodis works the best. If you intend to make a patch you can always join the mod thread in the GAMMA discord where is much easier to collaborate and I can provide some guidance. The link is in the support section of the mod description.
I just tested myself on Anomaly Vanilla and it does work with Vodis out of the box. I only tried one Vodis configuration as there are many permutations. Simply, install Dynahud and select Inherit and Nothing for what concern the Hud patch selection. Then place Dynahud after Vodis. You can still install the recommended mods for compass and ammo, firemode check etc.

Someone made me a rus translation of the mcm menu which was working but then in the last version, the one I put on moddb, I had to add new items in menu (put them in English) and it seems when I add anything from my pc it breaks the encoding or changes it.

Thank you for your great addons! Anomaly modding is based on such wish performers as you! It would be ideal to patch your addon for CrispyHUD, but this is my wishlist.

Anyway have you tried to use the Inherit option and then select not patch? If this hud of yours is built from the vanilla main hud it should work regardless. Yes, I tried to make a patch as it is written in the fomod installer, but unfortunately it didn't work. I really want to play with this addon, but none of the options available at the moment are suitable for me. Nevertheless, I will be waiting for new options, because the addon is just great

I'm having an issue with the bottom compass with waypoint (the one that requires a mod). I get all the symbols, but the compass itself is offset past the bottom of the screen, I can just barely see it poking out. I'm pretty sure it's something to do with the compass mod, because the S2 compass with waypoints works just fine.

Only 16:9 is supported unfortunately. Other that that, both compass with waypoints options have the same placement (the file is identical). The only difference is that S2 has the texture compass while the other does not have any texture, indeed it requires a compass mod to be installed separately that will bring the textures. So you normally use that option if you want to use your favorite compass mod texture and not mine
btw which compass mod you use? Maybe the texture is too small so that is why is barely visible

I'm using Dynahud with Zver compact and for some reason the status icons are overlapping with the main health, psi and stamina bar. The icons are not off to the side of it like they are supposed to. Not sure if that is whats intended or if it's because I am playing at a higher resolution or not.
this could be an issue if your resolution aspect ratio is not 16:9. I could only support that because that is how my monitor is and I have no way to adjust elements for 21:9 aspect ratio for example. Post a picture or hop in the mod thread on the GAMMA discord where I can help you better. There is also patches for dynahud for widescreen users. (check link in the Support section in the mod description)
I'm playing in 4K 16:9. So I'm unsure why exactly that is happening.

it won't work, it needs a full patch of both the ui xml files and its own BHS custom script.

hello i'm using this mod with the Gamma modpack, something is wrong when i choose to use the Compass Waypoint Bottom, who require the dynamic Compass addon (installed). Basically the compass is at 99% hide under the bottom. I miss something?
