This mod introduce Radio music tab for your PDA, with 2 radio channels and a music player for your custom songs + Encyclopedia
This Mod is available for:
Important Notes:
- Totally safe to install or remove, no new game is required, no saves can be effected.
- Compatible with everything (as long as the PDA files are untouched).
- Includes a step-by-step guide to show you how to add your own custom tracks.
It consists of 2 main features:
►
There are currently two radio stations that offer music broadcasting service to cheer yourself a bit:
Zone.FM (on 93.7 MHz)
Chernobyl Public Radio (on 101.4 MHz)
- Both channels broadcast music tracks 24/7.
- You will have hard time hearing the radio during emissions and underground maps due to interferences!
►
- Put your own songs, enjoy them anytime
- Create custom playlists
- You can display tracks names on the HUD (should be enabled from the radio menu)
You can access this menu by pressing Tab button in the main menu (you must be in-game first)
It gives you many options to control the radio and music player:
- Set up hotkeys for radio/music player controls (play/stop/next/previous etc..)
- Enable/Disable Immersion noises during emissions periods and underground maps
- Enable track name display on the HUD
- Set up the names of your playlists
- Introducing Encyclopedia PDA tab for older CoC versions (Credit goes for Darryl123 for his wonderful work on creating alot of articles)
- Big list of categories and articles for all kind of things inside the zone.
• Remove outer radio sources: (songs coming from camps/bases/megaphones etc...) in case they're interfering while you're trying to listen to the music from the PDA.

noice
moist !
And yet again is Tronex on a spray of uploading/modifying great mods. Keep up the great work ;)
can i add my own music?
Sure dude, read the included guide.
good day, thanks for your hard work.
tell me your mobs go to call of misery 1.0d fix2 ?
This is awesome. Would it be possible to keep your radio settings after loading a save or map change?
To be honest i prefer to keep the mod away from your save files, to avoid any possible corrupt/install/remove issue in the future.
This is what i wanted for a long time.. Thank you so much bro ! Good hunting !
This is a must for the game!
Hi there, that is a super great mode.. The music always put a smile on my face while in the middle of the dark temper of the zone..
Could you please provide us with the reference of Track 4 on the music player? the one that goes with the name "Neverland"? Thank you and keep up the outstanding work..
Can I have a name of this track: Drive.google.com
Can't view it, it asks for permission.
What file and what channel?
Also, have you tried this?: Audiotag.info
It's a great site for searching for songs names by files.
I tried both this and shasam, but it didn't work. It's track 4 from channel 1, Barman's radio. Also I've already shared that link to everyone, it should be ok now.
Thanks :D
wat hapen with you man? never played stalker?
Mod of the year
Does it work with CoM?
Tried it for a bit and it sort of works with the 1.4.22 fix. Just don't click the other new pda tabs or the game will crash.
CoM has an old PDA tabs system, it won't work.
Maybe i can figure something out later for it idk.
Great mod and flawless execution.
A thought: it would be perfect if the radio picked up only white noise when underground (maybe a flag for certain maps?).
I'm already preparing my '80s playlist, sure the audio player will be a good companion when traversing such dangerous areas...
I know exactly what music I am going to listen to with this...
Cheeki Breeki.
I have a question, is a new game required for this to work?
This is outstanding. Thanks for such a polished offering. I've checked out the radio stations and added a few of my own tracks to the player and it's perfect with plenty of useful extra features. I've noticed the script file has instructions for adding additional radio stations so I'll be doing that and having themed playlists for each one.
Another major bonus with this is I no longer have to spend ages trying to edit the .ogg files so they fade in and out correctly and have the correct volume because now I can just press start/stop and use the volume controls so thanks again for such a useful mod and if I can please make a request is it possible to add a hotkey to pause track and resume track so I can control the playing track without opening the PDA?
Sure m8, it's an easy thing. i will try to update the add-on today or tomorrow for hotkeys so make sure to check the page later.
pamagitshe!

just noticed your comment, have you modified the files in any way? and are you using the last version?
For some reason CoC started closing right after this mod, it happens when I try to start a new game or load one, i'm pretty sure I installed it correctly.
Tried to uninstall it manually but it still happens help :(
I've just tested the mod on both games 1.5 & 1.4.22 and it worked without an issue.
Without a crash log i can't help you, go to (appdata\logs) and check out the log file in there. post the last part under FATAL ERROR.
When you say "have hard time during emissions" does that mean that the actual radio stations lose the signal or that its just hard to hear music over the roar of the blowout? Second, what sort of work would be needed to add a new radio station entirely?
The PDA will lose the radio signals during emissions, you will hear interference from all over the place (muh immersion!)
Adding new channel will require some work and coding if you're willing to. you should check out the main script (trx_radio.script) file, I've marked the codes which need to be edited if you want to add more channels.
Then there is also the GUI part (changing the interface to add the new button for the new channel, re-positioning etc...)
Do you have any plans on making it compatible with Warfare mod? it seems that as of moment, they're incompatible and cause ctd with this error log

Late reply, but the mod is now compatible with Warfare.
Is this mod compatible with MLR 8.3?
I'm not sure, install it for CoC 1.4.22 and give it a try.
Hey, I installed this mod to my CoC and it keeps crashing when loading. Heres the end of the log:

I checked the warfare comparability option when installing so idk what to do.
The compatibility option will work on CoC 1.4.22 version only. if you're using CoC 1.5, then try without checking the compatibility option.
Otherwise, list the mods you're using in the order you installed them.
I am using 1.4.22 and these are all the mods I installed at first as a premade pack:
Absolute Nature
Absolute Structures
Arsenal Overhaul 3.1
Arsenal Overhaul old step sounds
Outfit Addon
Toska HD Models
New menu music
Gnomus scopes for AO3
Warfighter
Sound restoration [partly only]
Adjusted zoom levels
DoctorX questlines
DoctorX faction relations
DoctorX dynamic faction relations
DoctorX desolation
Full Simulation A-life
Smurth's dynamic hud
Loot money
Condition Trading Mod [tweaked]
NanoCell inventory
Faction + Oldschool playlist [tweaked]
Quiet Binoculars [adjusted for AO3]
Disable Anomaly Detector Beep
Artefacts Expansion v1.3
After these I installed your Dynamic News Mod.
Try installing warfare then this mod with the compatibility option checked, only those 2 without any other mods.
They should work together without an issue.
Your log basically says one of warfare script is not loading, I can't help if warfare is not compatible with one of those. if that was the case then you need to test those mods one by one.
For the 1.4.22 compatibility version, is there a way to unlock the entire encyclopedia?
Only the Features section is fully unlocked. Is there any way to unlock all encyclopedia entries?
Is it possible to make more than one playlists for the music player?,i think it'd be neat if i can set a playlist for "action time" and another one for "relaxing".Right now i simply numbered my songs to emulate the function
I want to know too. I was using Simple Tunes on CoC 1.4.22 and it was possible to make multiple custom albums... for the same reason. Sometimes I wanted to listen to the CS:TFW mod soundtrack, some Russian heavy metal and a few Doors songs, but then other times listen to the MadMax score.
If you can't I guess the only way to have an album of sorts would be to add everything to that one folder but keep the songs/tracks grouped, so that it plays like an album. and if you wanted to listen to something else you just skip tracks till you reach the section you want to listen to. Unfortunately that would remove the ability to "Shuffle" an album.
Check out the new update ;)
Ok,Just tried it today and it worked perfectly!.Many thanks!,also respect to you for putting detailed guides for your mods
Question: When using SAVandT you say to make type "world_ambient" because "the type of sound is important so the NPCs can react properly after hearing it". In the Simple Tunes mod we are told to label them "undefined" and it works fine, I assume "Undefined" has NPC's NOT react to it. Isn't that what we want? The way you put it labeling "world_ambient" WILL have NPC's react to it.
no, npcs dont react to ambient sounds.
Just leave them on undefined, it doesnt matter.
I was messing around with quick saves/loads and found a crash related to the encyclopedia when loading.

I usually load without ever crashing.
I will get that fixed, which game you're using?
I was using CoC 1.4.22 with STCoP.
