Dead Air is a total conversion for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series based on Call of Chernobyl, encompassing all aspects of the game from graphics, audio, and special effects to various gameplay and AI features. The mod evolves from the ideas started in Call of Misery, a previous project of the mod author. Major inspirations for Dead Air include projects such as NLC, MISERY, Autumn Aurora, and OGSE. Dead Air prioritises the development of the game engine’s potential, complexity of gameplay, and attention to detail, along with addressing both the quality and quantity of all content.

1. Download RePack — Torrent or Google Drive (the modification runs standalone, meaning no pre-existing installation of Call of Chernobyl or Call of Pripyat is required).

3. Download bugfixes (all-in-one).
Run the game as administrator.
Note that the mod is currently in open-beta. Bugs, errors, early features exist and are likely to be fixed with patches.

Hello, I have noticed that Hunting Kit doesn't work when it is not equipped, even though the description states that you only need to posess the item in your inventory to recieve more mutant parts. Is there a bugfix for that? If it is an intended mechanic, is there an add-on that changes that?

UPDATE: i fixed it. there was a missing "then" word in the 80th line of the xr_box.script file.

If I could make a request for the next update: Please make the doors actual physical barrier against monsters. It's silly to see them go right through the texture. It might also slow down killing NPCs so often.
Also, please make dog gangs fight each other, because that is what they do in real life as well.
