BE SURE TO DOWNLOAD THE MAIN MOD FIRST! Basically this project is a playable graphics SDK for the base game with new visuals that the player can re-experience the games with. Roughly 95 percent of the old terrain textures and nature props (e.g. trees) have been replaced along with all new lighting, custom made water, and particle effects.

PATCH 2.0.3 UPDATES: (v1.09 on GenLauncher)
Some minor optimizations and visual edits were made to the skirmish maps
General physics adjustments made to several objects
Adjusted particle effect code on several objects for optimization
Fixed scripting bugs and optimized several of the campaign missions
Added new "land bridges" and "destructible" bridges
(Winding River and Final Crusade are test bed maps for the new bridges)
To Install:
Simply download, extract and copy all the files and folders into your stock C&C Generals Zero Hour game data folder. If asked to replace files, select "Yes To All" and proceed to copy the files into it.
Troubleshooting In-Game:
If the game appears too bright, it is due to the new shader add-on. Simply omit using the "Shaders" file by deleting it or renaming its extension to something other than .big or turn down your game brightness in the options menu. You can also use Shift+F12 to disable the enhanced bloom effect.

HI, the MOD is very good but i have some questions.
In campaign , i choose HARD but thr game look like realy easy and do not realy attack .
And when i start GLA it's begin with mission 2 and not the first one whith the dam, is it an error ?
I.imgur.com small graphical glitch after zooming it with shadows
One of the known bugs, seems to happen more often with the use of GenTool. Another one is the terrain not rendering at certain zoom levels.
Playing comp stomp online and the game just seems to run super-fast compared to previous the previous version. Everything builds really quickly. This has changed the feel of the game A LOT and helps the AI completely overwhelm you early on. Is this intentional?! Is it just us?!
AI hasn't been edited for this VISUAL overhaul mod. Sounds like you might have files from another mod installed somewhere. (the mod is made to be compatible with others)
Is this mod not compatible with the HD control bar?
It will work but I am not the creator of that add-on so it remains available as a separate download until it gets cleared to be included. It can be found elsewhere on ModDB.
I'm really surprised with how well optimized this mod is alongside the STUNNING and Refreshing visual overhaul.
I have questions based on my single-player experience though,
Why does the modded campaign skips certain missions like the US & GLA dam mission? is it intentional?
and why there is no generals promotion/power for the entire GLA campaign after the cut GLA Mission whre you poison a city? Is it some sort of glitch or is it part pf the mod's gameplay challenge?
Does this mod take care of the mismatch errors that occur during multiplayer matches esp in some maps with AI enemies?
Not without hacking the game engine source code.
very nice mod
