The Dawn of the Tiberium Age is a stand-alone Tiberian Sun to Tiberian Dawn (C&C 95/Gold) total conversion which aims to allow people to both play and mod TD, while having all of the benefits of the TS engine. With version 1.10 of DTA the "enhanced mode" was also introduced; you get to pick whether you want to play the classic or enhanced mode when you start the game. Classic mode aims recreate TD's gameplay as closely as possible, while the enhanced mode aims to improve/enhance the gameplay you're used to from TD by adding many new units, weapons and other features and refining the game balance (prices, speeds, damage, range, etc.).

The Tiberian Sun engine itself is unfortunately closed-source, which means that even we don't have access to most of the code used in DTA.
All source code written for DTA itself is public, however.

DTA is a stand-alone mod based on the Tiberian Sun engine and it's entirely unrelated to Yuri's Revenge. DTA does have a number of hacks applied to add extra functionality though (similar to what Ares does for Yuri's Revenge).
hi bittah! I recently applied the dta client. It fascinates me, it's great. However, there are things that I still can not do, how to implement the changes I made to my mod of yuri's revenge (I changed the faction members, I have incorporated characters and units, buildings and superweapons, etc). Is there a way for someone to give me an idea? I also wanted to put a loadingscreen, but I see a pink screen. I'm having a hard time trying to understand exactly what you're trying to do. Exactly what are you modifying; TS, YR or DTA?
And are you trying to create a new mod for the client or are you trying to port an already existing mod to the client?
I'm modifying my Yuri's revenge ... with my client I gained facilities in the aesthetic, but it does not "capture" my modifications (.mix) nor my .ini. Forgive me if it is difficult for me to understand myself: I am from Argentina and I do not speak English ... greetings from here!
