A great mod so far :D, tho i would love to have the original shoc atmosphere graphic back! I play on dx8, a weak pc lol
Well.. just as extra note, textures loaded by mod are few and most of them have better quality without exaggerated "oversize". Then if you have problem because your comp is "weak", also without Elite you can have that same little problem. And until you didn't use any extra textures and/or shader packs, as I believe.
[And a question. I don't know if you have finished ther game, but what do you think about the monolith attack at Freedom barrier? It was hard, not hard...? Ty for your eventual answer]

hi, does this mod has hydration system (aka thirst)?
I think Elite doesn't even have the option for the player/npcs to go to the bathroom.

the mod is great but holy crap why are the enemies so tanky, like you have to dump an entire mag into their face. Again great mod otherwise
Because if you kill them soon, for me, to be realistic.. you also have to die... soon. And that doesn't happen... right? You kill hundreds of them.... Plus, you have a "brain", medkits, bandages and so on.... they not, although with the best AI. (Just for curiosity.. in some other games, to kill each one of medium/heavy boss and having strong attacks, and companions too, you need literally from 15 to 45 minutes, real time. But none said.. they are too "hard". And me neither)
Anyway, and if you want, read also various notes in manual. Elite is this. In a good and in a "bad".... way :)

So far a great mod. Only thing that bothers me is the graphics... is there any graphics mod i can add to this one?
Ty. And you mean "ambiental/nature" graphic... I guess. I have not suggestions, because is long time I don't use anything. Just find some ambiental mod regarding .dds textures for ambient/nature, with no other extensions inside. And anyway, about Textures, and eventually Weather, read FAQ pag.26, where you find some info.
PS: Replacing only .dds files (and only for Nature/Ambient. And NOT for items, objects, weapons, and so on ) cannot cause any critic problem. Just see/test in game if you like, or not, those eventual changes.

I suppose all I could say is personally I think there are too many bandits in the beginning two levels for how bad the ballistics are. Besides that its a really charming and fun little overhaul!
Surely you can say, but just don't be guest, ty. About ballistics (and opinions etc etc)... it needs some page to explain all. Anyway as manual refers, weapons are for "this" mod.
About number of bandits (except those ones in Camps or for Tasks that DON'T change), it's substantially random (and also their ranks). So in some map (but overall in first two maps, and I add too.. Dark Valley) some time they can be "many" and other times they can be "few". If you play many and many times ELITE you 'll note that. It's perfectly normal. And when you can, you can also avoid to fight them (like other enemies or mutants etc. as manual refers too. Also about quests. Everything about is your choice)
PS: example, when I get ready to go for fist time in Garbage from Sid, and on the road the game spawns soldiers and/or bandits, .., I skip them. Ciao
Max, I have a crash (never happened in old Elite ver) and sometime yes and sometime no, in dv lab. Please check.
You are right. Yesterday, cleaning up useless spaces and other in, I missed a carriage return for Poltergeists file. And they spawn mainly there. TY Serge.
PS: fixed in 11.6 and a new game is not required. Just re-enter in Lab map from your last saved game in DV map. And.. sorry.
