Good evening, everyone. I assume everyone's enjoying yearly pain of hot blow which is exacerbated by the economic system, which makes the place we live look more like Half-Life 2 Beta, day by day.
To get to the point, a small asset pack has been released. It contains many models which I assume is what makes Build2001 unique. Some may find it useful. Build2001 - Brush Model Assets addon - Mod DB
It's essentially a release of what I have uploaded here: Build2001 - July 2021 Update news - Mod DB
with many more added and updated.
Upside of making these into .mdl files are that they are not affected by baked-in lighting of func_physbox and are far easier to put into level.
More models may come.
Regarding the state of the mod, let's say "On the Graduation Question" is what's currently straining me the most.
Sorry to disappoint, you likely have expected more.

New release for hl2's cut content restoration mod, Build2001.
This version includes vertigo, small gameplay tweaks and graphical tweaks. Playable "get your free tvs" map, revision which was leaked.
Second release of ver.3 vertigo chapter. Vertigo is a cut chapter from 2001 takes place before streetwar. This is a heavy remake of it, includes 4 levels...
Put it in sourcemods folder as always, it's for hl2ep2, no source sdk base stuff..
You may remember this iconic map from "original" leak. Unused map now playable.
Genuinely invokes some of the best atmosphere a beta mod has accomplished, the modifications you've made really make it feel like an earlier game than Half-Life 2, there's this GoldSrc aesthetic I love. I got faith in you, this project is great and I hope it goes on.
Incredible. Out of every mod, this one best represents the beta's atmosphere by far. More then any mod. Even Dark Interval OB. I really hope to see this get big one day. I truly have faith in you and your work. Best of luck
