Aberration

Mod review

A horror mod set in the hl2 universe... well close but no cigar. The mod just can't make up his mind on what it really is. It's not horror, yeah it got some spooks here and there but nothing out of the ordinary, and definitively not something you haven't already seen in other mods. As for the hl2 universe thing not quite there as well. We got zombies but no headcrabs, you fight a couple of them and that's pretty much standard. A few classical wait for loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong elevator to come down standoff etc. Levels are on par but some parts seem really out of place and the logical progression is pretty much none existent. All in all not bad, but then again not good enough.

Lost Under The Snow

Mod review

Not a bad start, albeit lookin' rather similar to Penumbra. But way too many bad desings, dull levels, poorly optimised ones, crashes, A.I. Disabled bugs alongside way too much of a non varied gameplay leave you on a so so trip that give you bad taste at the end.

Deceit

Mod review

That much early in development you shouldn't release. Rooms and corridors that anyone who can compile a map can make in an hour or so plus some "custom" weapons don't measure up to a mod, as it stands even as a map pack it's bad. Bland design and empty boxes pretty much.
