This is a weapon effects mod, replacing the game's original textures with my own, which are based entirely off of, and dedicated to accurately representing, the canon effects from the shows and movies.
Specifically, they replace the phaser beams, pulses, and torpedoes for all of the ships and stations in the game. More often then not, each weapon for each ship will have multiple textures available.
There are also some low level changes to the game, like the Akira class shooting a torpedo instead of a phaser. All gameplay changes are disabled by default, but easily activated by the user.

It shpuld at leat have pictures so we know how does it looks like...
Well this could be cool. But you need to add more stuff, like new weapon effects, new characters, new maps, new gametypes. And anything else that you think other people will enjoy playing.
Personally, I believe this to not even constitute being a mod, as a graphics change such as this is merely a question of editing various picture files.
Come on, you can do better!
